LST Assault Craft

Great vid, but actually LPD-51 USS Ponce, "Landing, Platform, Dock". I saw Sea Duty on 3 classes of Amphibious Assault ships. The LST, "Landing, Ship, Tank", is a smaller boat with a huge boom on front(not to be confused with the WW2 version that has a double bow door). Thanks for posting this, brings back great old memories!!!

Great video of that Aircraft Carrier Dave! I'm used to seeing small craft on the lake near here so it amazes me at how big these crafts are and how much they can hold. It seemed to be moving quite fast also for a ship that size.. Were you moving in the opposite direction to make it look faster? Thanks for sharing..

Today the special forces are using us as a training ship but no cameras are allowed to film any of it or even take a picture , they dont want anyone to see what and how they do what they are going to do. I'm a little excited to be a part of that , We play the bad guys . :o)tm
