can someone please reply/help/inbox me... i was trying to unlock my iPhone 3gs which was running under an older iOS version i think it was 4.3.3 or something. I never properly interpreted how the unlocking process worked and ended up installing the 5.01 software provided by iTunes. Now my phone is locked in and out of the computer telling me "please insert a simcard". Therefore i have absolutely no access to my iPhone. To get rid of the 3194 error uninstall your current itunes and unstall itunes 10.2.2 that should solve it. I don't care about thumbs up but please do it since it would help a lot of people.

Ive found a SOLUTION for restoring 6.15.00 baseband 3Gs iPhone. OK. So i downloaded a 4.1 (8B117) firmware. Originally on 4.3.3. So i tried alot of things, but i just SHIFT and RESTORED to the 4.1 firmware. IDK if this will work for you ladys and gents. But it did for me. So try it out :)

I need some help. So I tried to Install Cydia and Install iPad baseband on my iPhone 3GS. That seemed to work just fine, but when I tried to open Cydia, it got stuck on “Loading Filesystem”. I tried to restore the phone and it got bricked.

So I’ve tried to do the method described in the video. It seems to complete just fine, but then after it finishes, iTunes still says the phone is in recovery mode and the screen on my phone is just blank.

I followed this methods and got the restore to go very smooth on my iPhone 3GS.  But then after the restore completed successfully the iPhone rebooted but could not reboot. I got the black screen and iTunes displayed the message that it detected an iPhone in recovery mode again.
