My 01 ZX3 had a telescoping wheel, why would a newer model lose this feature? Rear drum brakes on a small car are just fine. They last longer and are only a disadvantage in a very small % of situations. I do question however why Ford didn't keep the 2.3L from the prior model as the 2.0 seems somewhat anemic compared to the competition.
