Ok I get it now for users who are just going through what he is doing on the screen.

till 2:58 minutes he was creating a certificate request and once he submitted it with and got the files from them (whoever gives it out) he jumps of to the next screen capture where he has already unpacked the files.

@ 2:58 , when you do a ls you only have server.csr and server.key but 3:15 you have more files.

1. server.key : A file which store key.

2. server.csr : A file which generated from server.key and send it to sign with Certificate Authority(CA) eg. Verisign.

When you register(Signed) with Verisign, your're receive 3 file from Verisign (intermediate.crt, public.crt, server.cer)

3. intermediate.crt : To register with Apache

4. public.crt : To register with Apache

5. server.cer : To register with your browser(Firefox)
