Wow, I had NO clue this even happened to Alex? Not surprised he asked for Izzie on his death bed. She's his soul mate. I solely watching the show for Alex & Izzie. Stopped watching Grey's min Katherine Heigl left. I read the news tonight about Katherine Heigl's desire to return to the show. They were the BEST thing Grey's had going & still are. Keeping my finger crossed for Alex & Izzie reunion. Please Izzie come home to your man. It will be the BEST thing you ever did for both of you :)

After Alex makes her suffer alittle watching him with another GF, they do finally reunite, marry & leave together. The End
I think it's so endearing that Alex still loves Izzie after all this time. I really liked George and I am really sad that he died..but I think Alex is the most interesting remaining character. We can tell he's messed up and rude and even cruel sometimes...but he's still selfless when it comes to the people he really cares about.
OMG, I haven't watched this show in forever, but I'm finding out that they have killed off a ton of characters since I used to watch it. Why????? So sad!!!!! I'm glad I don't watch it anymore.

@Sumgui2009 i think its less about the kid thing and more about the fact that he keeps making huge life decisions without discussing it with her first. He keeps assuming he can make her decisions for her. communication is key in relationships and he hasn't been when it counts. I think they love each other and when they get past that barrier they will be together

I know the 7 season has ended but before starting it, I'd liked to know if Izzie comes back or if she will come back in 8 season. does anyone know it? Even Alex forgot about her during the season, though they didn't mention her often. To season 8 ... We haven't had any information yet. But since she wasn't there in season 7 I doubt she'll be back in season 8.

Alex sent her away after she returned in episode 6.12 and wanted to start fresh. He told her that he deserves someone who stays. Shonda created the SL to give KH time for her maternity leave. But during the leave KH decided not to come back. It was against Shonda's plans. She wanted a Lexzie reunion.
I want Izzie back. Her and Alex were the best couple. Izzie will obviously always be Alex's main love, she made him happy, and now that she's gone, he's back in to his old bad attitude (which is still alright cos he's a brilliant character to the show, and it's "Classic Alex")
Oh God I hope KH makes an appearance and that AI will be together again, I mean they spent so much time and energy in building them up so it's only fair!
Also, on a sidenote, I'm so happy that for once a TV couple doesn't forget about each other the minute one of them leaves the show. I mean, it's more realistic considering what's happened between A and I in my opinion.

He will always love her, no matter what, because he has always loved her, from season 2, all along, I don't think she has ever loved him the way he did.
