I used to love LEGO's and I used to make them all the time when I was a kid. I still have a couple of them on display. I always wanted to get this one, but could never find it in a store.

Something with that many pieces must take days to build.

@Dubzoomember In UK I think they are (or were last time I checked) around £300 - 400 or so.

Ridiculously expensive. There is a cheaper version, around £80 I think, but it isn't nearly as good as this, obviously.

Best star wars kit, value for money-wise, is the new version of the ARC-170 starfighter. You can get it for around £40, and it is fantastic. Comes with 3 figures, including Kit Fisto with his lightsaber, and has movable turrets and a bomb launcher. Also expandable wings (S-Foils)

@thewizard99 Actually I noticed just a few days after I posted here.

Lego star wars kits are hugely overexpensive now. I don't know whether it's because of the videogames or what, but they are worth nowhere near the asking price now.

I bought my AT-ST for £20 about 3 years ago. The same kit is around double that price now.

Slave 1 was around £35-40, and now it is around £80. Not worth that. I didn't buy it at £35 because I thought it was too expensive.

I think the biggest lego star wars set has like 35,000 pieces. It's a venator class republic attack cruiser. but i don't think it's really a set.
