6.7 is the mark that Joe Beaver set in 1986 at West Jordan, Utah.

It was also tied a couple times in the final round of the Texas Stampede in 2001 by Stran Smith and Cody Ohl. Then Cody tied a calf in 6.5 at the WNFR in 2003 I believe. Clint Robinson then tied the record during the slack at the Tri-State Fair and Rodeo in Amarillo. Then Ricky Canton tied a calf in 6.3 at a rodoe somewhere in Alberta.

Do you know that if I'm a big hug efan of tie-down calf roping, then this event is for me as it'll rock forever and ever, as you know that in calf roping, the world record is just over 6 seconds of 6.3, 6.5, 6.7, 6.8, and 6.9, and that's what's great about calf roping, isn't it? I hope rodeos go on forever in 2009 and 2020 and the 100th century and just forever and ever if I hope I'll be calf roping forever and I hope that calf roping will be around forever as long as I live and survive forever.

I'll live forever everyday in 2007 and 2009, and thank goodness there'll be another 2007 and 2009 someday again, YAHOO, I get to live forever in 2007 and 2009, which means thank goodness I pick my top best two favorites years to live with and repeat forever and ever for years and years to come, as there'll be another 2007 and 2009 again someday forever, YAHOO :) I hope the NFR will be going on forever in 2050 and a lot of more years to come, if more new cowboys will be in the PRCA roping forever
