I've been able to duplicate most weapons and armors. The only things that don't work are: unique items[as in one of a kind] and the silver longsword. The silver longsword won't duplicate for some reason.

Whenever i try to duplicate my bound dagger (made by doing the bound dagger glitch) it doesn't work. I use the method where you have to tap a stack of scrolls twice and another stack of lesser amount of scrolls then the item. Can you please help? its fully healed, it isn't enchanted, and i don't know what to do.

i found out that when duping items "(i was duping scrolls for increased dupe of items)" that if you repaet the procces before going out of the journal thing. it dupes even more

Also, yes, I have found this as well; only some enchanted items will duplicate.

It is the same for every dupe glitch in this game; not all items will duplicate.

I take it you have an expansion pack installed (it's Shivering Isles that causes this).

As far as I know, the only way to open it is to pick it, or (if you are on PC) open the console, click on the door and type "unlock", or unlock it via Construction Set.

yeah, This works great for small Items, But It doesn't allow me to duplicate big weapons or any kind of armor, anything light seems to duplicate just fine, I've used several different types of scrolls and nothing that is armor or a moderate to heavy weapon will duplicate. Any advice? Or is it just patched or something?

Unfortunately, I can shed no light upon this issue; I have not had this error before.

I also have given my Oblivion disk to my friend, and so can no longer check to see if it still works.

I seem to remember duplicating my Daedric weapons and armor, though.

They haven't fixed it as far as I'm aware.

Try using different scrolls and items.

Try with 3 Flare scrolls, for example, and a Potion of Healing, for example.

Yeah, it does work with just 2 scrolls.

It's called Glass Armor.

You have to be level 20 or over in order for it to start showing up on enemies (like bandits, and stuff).

Or, you could cheat for it.

It shouldn't make any difference.

Get loads of the same scroll.

Double click on the scrolls.

Drop the item,

also, you need to have a greater amount of scrolls than the number of whatever the item you want to duplicate you have.

This hasn't been patched, has it?

The last official Oblivion patch was released in 2007, and I had that patch when I made this.

The only way it would be patched is if you downloaded the "Unofficial Oblivion Patch", which fixes about 98% of the bugs in this game.

On the PC, xbox or PS3?

On PC, you have to hold shift and then click on it.

On xbox i think you have to press "x".

On PS3, I think you have to press square.

You end up with the same amount of item as the number of scrolls you started off with... for example, if you have 3 "Shock" scrolls, anf you double click on them, then drop 1 rat meat, you will end up with 3 rat meats. you need more scrolls than however many of the item you are duplicating has. you can always buy\dupe ore scrolls.

Elder Scrolls 5 would be awesome if it was multiplayer, especially vs. Co-op would be cool but but even 1 v 1 would be better.

Bad news... When I was playing my Ps3 I was trying to get another game to work and I deleted Oblivion:( But I'll start back a new game I love it! Elder Scrolls 5 might be coming out in 2010! Just a thought tho but it would be so awesome!
