The original by CC is a classic soothing sound while nsync version is modern mellow... So no need to argue about who's best and better I think both artist are great.

i like the original version of of sailing by christoper cross because it seemed effortless and smooth like the image of sailing. this one seems to be a lot of work and instead of the feeling of the "jouney being the destination" it is more of i can't wait to dock this boat and get out and lay on the beach for some rest.

i like the original version better because this one is too busy. the original by christoper cross is effortlessly expressing the sailing experience. the jouney is the destination so to speak. this version seems to be the working on the boat version and can't wait until i can dock so i can rest song.
