I hope the whole series is a ripoff of Darren Aronofsky's films. This is crossing the line from homage to just blatantly copying sequences from "Pi." Please tell me this show ends with Kiefer Sutherland shoving a drill into his head!

It was like watching a 3 hour long movie that keeps you enthralled. So much was packed into one show, such amazing writing! Really loved the story line and how the father was such a "man" but you could see his deeper emotion underlying. It was a great intro into what I can only imagine being my -soon to be- favorite show. SO GOOD!!

Another one of those "OMG teh terrorists r gun get us all! Abolish all that is valued, but save us now!" propaganda shows, where each episode there is some evil terrorist and a "hero" who murders and terrorizes his way to stop that "terrorist", to train you to really believe that, so they can bring in ACTA, and remove all your rights.
Hint: In 5 years, that "terrorist" will be *you*, trying to save what’s left of your country.

It's about numbers and how 'they' connect us (telephone numbers...birthdays...addresses...the stuff that keep us connected). But, set to fiction and plus it's a really decent television show.
there is a minor flaw in the story plot. if u do not start to commmunicate at a young age verbally while your brain is developing you can not learn it once you get older because that part of the brain is already developed to where you cant change it. your brain learns by repetition.if you dont say the words u hear you wont lock on to it.

@howardkevinm Are you sure about that? Helen Keller might disagree...The human brain is capable of so much more besides help organs to function. Did you know that the brain can repair itself? There's a documentary (title escapes me right now) that gives incredible examples. Try searching for it, you might find it will change your opinion.

This show is amazing! With this show, the true nature of Autism is revealed a thousand times better than I could ever explain it myself. This is the message those with autism are trying to send, that indeed there are connections to everything that happens in the world, big or small. As an epileptic, I was a lot like this kid when I was young, but for me it has gradually receded over time.
I really enjoyed watching this tonight. I've already set up the DVR to record the series...too bad the next one isn't until March. Interesting that about a week ago I got a link on FB to Vi Hart's channel on YouTube explaining fibonacci through doodles. That ViHart has one amazing mind,as does the boy in this show, and although mine doesn't work the same as hers does, I really enjoy trying to follow the incredible complex minds some are fortunate to have. And here it is: the new 2012 tv series called 'Touch' with such a fantastic plot and great characters! Can't wait for the pilot episode!!
There's a reason why 3:18 was featured so predominantly in this series. Because the series will be officially released on March the 19th. Hence making the events in the show more viable. It's a genius move by Fox for the timing. But I'm expecting at least 22 episodes for the first season tho, otherwise the story can't be expandable.

personally I would love it if this show was ONLY one season, where the last episode finally reveals some sort of disastrous event.
that way it could planned out from start to finish at its highest quality, rather than thinking "let's pace ourselves over a few seasons".
