yes, the passenger cabin and the wheels are from tamiya. the rest is handmade. you can see the build in one of my other videos.

you are right. it performs much better with some weight in the back. but for display reasons, I decided to shoot the video without it. so you see the frame and the mechanics better.

the truck has a two speed gearbox of a cordless drill. I can shift the gears with the remote control.
