I think people should go on their own HOWEVER they dont, especially african americans. HIV is wiping us out at an alarming rate and we cant afford to keep letting fear stop us from knowing our status. Its like we are fine just going on with our lives and spreading this INCURABLE disease. So maybe we do need to make it manditory.

MANDATORY! PPl would know if they have it and get treatment and live longer. Also, ppl need to get tested before they start a new sexual relationship. Its an awesome thing that NY has put their foot down and said madatpry testing and I hope the rest of the world follows. Thanks for the video post!

DON'T GET TESTED! these people will never tell you that:

-your insurance carrior will drop you an in instant or will charge you 3-5 times more at policy renewal time

-the govt will receive the results of your positive test and log it into permanent record

-everyone at the hospital that sees your health record will be scared of you

-you will not be allowed to travel to certain countries that have hiv travel bans

-you will be banned from joining the military

no that undermines ppl's human rights. thats just WRONG. we've rights bcoz they give us a CHOICE, yes/no. if u force a person to get tested for sumthing they do not want to knw about or not prepared 4, that will just automatically increase suicide rates. it's like forcing an ill-patient to drink medication they dont want 2 drink. we're all given a choice 2 b in control of our lives & it shud stay like that. the government must not dictate how ppl shud live their lives. Life's a choice!!!

That's already been found unconstitutional. I don't agree with mandatory anything. People need to be educated and act more responsibly, period. I wouldn't allow it for my child, and wouldn't submit to it myself. You'll look back and find that's how you go the Super T-rex virus dropping in 2067.

please be advised that flu shots and the flu itself will cause one to have a false positive on the hiv test according to a 2006 New England Journal of Medicine report. the hiv test identifies the presence of 1, 2, or 3 proteins for a positive result depending on which country one tests in. drug use, malaria, tuberculosis and pregnancy will also cause the body to produce those proteins. please pray for all those who have been misdiagnosed with hiv and the AIDS syndrome.

with me being a teen 16 and a virgin myslef i agree with them testing teens for HIV and other std's so they know their status..Its about damn time!! theres alot of teens walkin around here spreadin shit thinkin they dont have something when they do..so many lives could be saved because of this..better to know then walk around not knowing anything..better safe then sorry..but great video..

def .. kids i see at this homeless teen shelter are 13 and pregnant. Aids testing should have already been mandatory!People are scared to know, but better to know than to not know
