Your argument against infinity is flawed. Your imposing a condition that each broke brother won't be different in one sense but that doesn't mean that there still is no potential for actual infinite variance between each brother as in the inifinite chain of brothers each can be infinitely different from one another physically yet still at the same time broke.

Your point has no relevance to the analogy - in fact, I don't know why you thought this constitutes an argument. All the brothers in the room are different from eachother, but if they all broke, then they are all broke. The analogy of '1 pound' means 'existence'. My point was to refute the infinite regress of existent things, not lack of diversity amongst existent things! :)

Existence precedes essence, something must exist first, before it can have attributes. Infinite varieties on non-existence, are still non-existent :)

You've just refuted yourself. There cannot be an infinite regress of limited existent things (proven by my argument in the video). First of all you don't know what the full scope of what those limitations are and at the sametime you're misrepresenting infinity. What's infinite can infact be limited in a sense. You got refuted when you were asked about the afterlife because even though one can maybe count time moment by moment, a question about when that existence will end automatically leads to infinity.

great, then perhaps u can refer me to those passages in the Qur'an calling for women to be treated harshly, covering their entire heads, forced wearing of burkas, stoning of women for adultery, genital mutialations, honor killings, preventing women from driving, preventing girls attending schools, calling for 4 witnesses in case of allegations of rape, cutting off hands of thieves,..just for starters

I can give you verses about covering their entire heads (Which is recommended for men and they wear Caps), stoning of Any Muslim for adultery (if it is proved, but for that 4 upright members of society must act as witness to the actual act of intercourse), amputating of hands of thieves (which is the maximum pentalty and not the fixed penalty and will not be enforced in most cases, depends on individual case).

seems to me that a woman committing adultery is not going to be stupid enough to do it before 4 witnesses. further, a man raping a woman is not going to do it before 4 witnesses which would prove rape. In effect this provision in Sharia allows men to cover up rape because no woman would dare say she was raped

America has a higher rate of such crimes even though it is to be a role model for the countries in many aspects. Just like that there are things that happen in muslim societies too. That is the reason that if a person rapes a woman, his punishment (maximum) is to be death penalty. In Islam DNA test e.t.c IS allowed to convict a rapist. I do not think going into any more detail is needed here. This should suffice. Please do take your time out to acutally read what the muslim holy book has to say. As for treatement of Women in Islam, there is a FULL chapter in Qur'an called An-Nisa (The Women) this is chapter 4. I put verse 4:19

As for things like Honor killings, this is murder Qur'an 6:151. And a person that takes life loses the right to live. And the Saudi government has made this clear enough that the problem here has to do with the Traditions of the society rather than the Religion. If religion forbade women to drive than women in Pakistan, Egypt, Malaysia e.t.c would also not be driving if you know what I mean. As for knowledge, "Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim (male and female)." (Hadith, Saying of Prophet of Muslims)
