  • Holy carp how I love the sound of the bite signal screeeeaming xD

Here in Bavaria carps like to bite in exactly the same way! I guess it's just the same @ the most places. Nice video

  • All i know is those were some storrrrmmmmmmingggg runs wouldnt mind a few of those me self :D

  • @kooori12 why would we divulge this to you? We enjoy catching these magnificent creatures... Not just destroying them for the sake of it!!! (and before you all start on what carp have done to the waterways and natives etc etc go to the NSW DPI website and see the new regulations relating to class 3 noxious pests from April 2010... You don't have to destroy them!!!!)

Kooori12 your inability to spell and use grammar correctly along with your actions displays to all what a moron you actually are!!!

  • where abouts in australia are u fishing for them???

i live in australia i we cut there throats or break there heads in.

any fun way to kill them as they kill australia bass, mullet, herring and dirty up the water making it hard for our native fish to survive

  • Ialways wonder why Carp fishermen stare at the fishes head during a pic ...like they want to root it,whats with that?

  • compliment!!very very beautiful fish

  • E' il più bel video sul carpfishing in assoluto! luoghi e partenze spettacolari!

  • Laziest fishermen ever.

  • @FirstTrades Lol, don't think so buddy ;)

  • @moeboetoe69BACK And why not? What's with the winky face?

  • I remember when fishing was all about sitting down and drinking beer, catching only small fish, because you had no luck x:

  • shows the carp at 3:55

  • It's all fun and games until a croc jacks one of your carps just as your about to land it.

  • carp at midnight are the funnest who needs a noise alarm

    nice vids

  • all koi is from japan

  • Poor animals how many more do you need to catch?

  • @flordesiempre and we catch as many carp as we can because they are an introduced pest that does damage the native fish numbers

  • @iktpq2008 to the point where its illegal to return them to the water

  • @flordesiempre Got to catch them all :P But seriously, they all need to be caught.

  • Do you fellas bow fish in Australia? Nice catch rod or bow, either way.

    Very nice Fish ;D

  • what bait do you use??

  • Wild mate, they are in almost every river system here now. In recent years they are on the decline as re stocking of native Cod are now feedin on the buggers.

  • Is this wild carp or closed lake facility?

  • I would LOVE to catch some Brisbane Nrt. side.Anyone can help???

  • 4:44 its my goldfish, chuck norris!

  • koi fish at 4:35 "NO,NO,NO!! I knew i should'nt have eaten it"

  • YO are you going to put that fish BACK?? thats what ppl are wondering the most while they watch this video

  • @aznhalferboy Carp don't get put back in Australia. They are considered a noxious pest.

  • what is your bait and hook setup?

  • were is this filmed can any 1 help would love to fish there!!

  • Only in Victoria and Queensland is it illegal to release carp back into the water. NT has no carp regulations. WA requests that you humanely kill them. So does South Australia. ACT and NSW recommend that you not return them however it is not illegal to do so.

  • magicarp I choose you!

  • What an amazing location to fish for carp. Like a jungle river. I do hope you are putting those beautiful creatures back my friend :)

  • @saintlysimon

you should not put it back as it is a pest fish in australia

  • @sparktrix I know that. I also know that Australians considered the aborigines a pest many years ago. The biggest pest in Australia are the Homo-sapiens. Long live the might King Carp.

  • @saintlysimon

    Absolutely..

as usual the cause for the presence of these carp where they're not indigenous is down to man. The fish aren't the pests..we are !!

    These fish are beautiful creatures.

  • I did not know that Australia is grown in carp fishing

  • nice

  • They can be great to catch, especially on a 4w fly rod. But don't release them, take them home, mash 'em up and put 'em in the ground for fetiliser.

  • DUDE NO AUSTRALIAN LIKES CARP !!!! THEY ARE A PEST IN MY COUNTRY !!!! WE GET FINED IF WE CATCH THEM AND RELEASE THEM BACK INTO THE WATER WAY OR RIVER !!!!

  • I like carp good fun test of a fisherman, I just proved you wrong. Look think for yourself about these things stop eating what your culture gives you and think for yourself not what shady money motivated fisheries tell you. I know of many wetlands, contructed ones based of the way australia was before european intervention (agricultural) modified them. Steady banks plenty of snags and no fertilizers or pollution or cattle damaging the banks, the systems are very healthy full of carp.

  • anyone can fish for carp no experience needed just a rod stale bread or corn and a lake and you will catch them !!!! and when you do you club them over the head and leave them for the water rats or what ever feeds on them on the bank !!!! and you have done a good job in keeping your water way free from pests

  • @RedBeretXXX that's not true at all. Carp can be extremely wary fish. And that tactic may be good at keeping carp away, but then you bring pests (rodants) to the bank! Clever! Carp are a popular fish in the UK as are they in some states of AUS, the US and espicially france and germany. You sometimes have to keep your opinions to yourself.

  • @AnglersNowUnited i dont see why carp are bad im an american an i enjoy a carp catch. im mexican-american so instead of killing the carp or throwing him in healthy ill eat him. not to discrase the fish or nothing but i don't see why when we catch a carp we have to kill it and throw it back in.... might a well eat it

  • @DaewooGamer Carp are introduced pest species in Australia and destroy water ways and kill of native fish. As such they need to be removed from our water ways, what you do once you remove it is your choice.

  • @BWMerlin exactly my point i can help the cause and feed my family at the same time, i was born were almost every animal u kill (except insects) have some benefit to you whether u eat it or use it for something else, what point does it make to kill and throw the fish back. thank you for understanding. every fish is enjoyable catch for me.

  • @AnglersNowUnited

    Dont forget Holland!! France/Holland/Germany ;)

  • @klabraft and Holland ;)

  • what do u use as bait.. i been trying to catch carp and the only way is to shot them with my bow but i want to reel on in

  • 3:55 if you want to skip the fishing poles.

  • poor fish :(

  • each of those fish are worth like 1000 dolars at least

  • real a fucking fish in

  • How come you are always using such a tight drag setteing? Do you not use a biatrunner?

  • IIiiiiiiiiiiiiyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it's seems like fishing its easy :D

  • awesome

  • i hope you killed them cunts of things

  • @jeffreyclancy i sure due after well clean they make a good stew aswell

  • the cluch is to tight man...lucky non of the rods went in

  • Carp bait is simple to make carin oats and mountain dew my buddy hit a 25 common on it and I hit a 16 a 12 and this was all in about an hour

  • why the army get up?

  • yeah lol what bait did you use

  • No wonder your rods were going ten to the dozen with the size of the tail fins on those!! I bet there were a few dead arms after some of those runs :D

  • soo lucky you didnt loose you rods with them screaming runs :D great video

  • great video.

  • Dude!, what bait do you use?!

  • @JTC6103

Use a pole with some fishing line tied to the end, a straight small hook and a small ball of dough made from flour and water - and then lower the bait in the water in front of them.... they are also surface feeders - sucking shit in... and they are attracted to the bright whiteness of the dough.

They are so easy to catch..... it's a fucking joke. Too bad they taste like shit.

  • Carp = floating shit sandwhiches...

Good tough fish to get on a line.......

  • @callmeshane303 they are good for feeding racoons. :D

  • my heart was pounding I love that rush!

  • Wow!

  • And these lines just TAKE THE FUCK OFF. I've never seen this kind of carp action before. As someone who enjoys the fishing environment I have near me, I understand why you would want the pest fish gone. I wholeheartedly hope you are able to do something about this. And thank you for the video, I most definitely enjoyed it.

  • waw i always like to watch fishing with big monsters

  • @dfg297popdirk. carp are a massive pest in australia because the dirty up the water and depleat native fish stocks.

  • Those koi are great i would love to be able to catch them in England. So what ozzy fish are the harmfull to ? i just dont understand it ?

  • Why are carp so hated in oz?

its only another fish for anglers to catch ? i carp fish in England so whats the problem? ok there not native, until europeans introduced them, but there never going to cause the damage that rabbits did, So whats the problem, Please respect my question as i really dont see the problem.

  • Comment removed

  • what did u do with them once u caught them ? how many did u catch ? they are humungous

  • Comment removed

  • some day someone will see you putting these fish back and hopefully beat the living shit out of you cockheads. carp were never in australia before Europeans so they shouldnt be now.

    Cheers

  • @FishingAusCarp Try the yarra upsteam of dights falls

  • lol that sounds like a sick duck !!!

  • More fishing, less fishing POLES.

  • @PaintedHorsey i agree mate there bastards

  • Just like everything else in life, fishing has become remote controlled. Like you would need an alarm to tell you you've got a bite!!! Love the combat khaki outfits boys - it's a real hunters paradise fishing for carp, the tastiest table treat we have to offer in Oz!

But, well done to you for ridding our systems of this voracious vermin, keep it up! At least you'll leave us some real fish to fish for.

  • :( where is this?!?!? I need a good place for carp

  • @Chhhyaaaa I'm looking a place too Nrt.Brisbane! can anyone help?

  • what kind of bait are you using?

  • fake fish

  • ure all retards the karp destroy the environment for all the other native species if you have any respect for all the other fish you dont return them to the water that simple plus its illegal

  • @MrNinedigits you are now a confirmed IDIOT!!!! The carp has its place as all othe fish!

  • @lakrisbaaten The carp is an invasive species in Australia. They have done more damage to the aquatic environment than any other fish species.

  • @lakrisbaaten The carp is an invasive species in Australia. They have done more damage to the aquatic environment than any other fish species.

  • @TheNakerz5 They have only damaged the environment here because they aren't supposed to be here. The water in a a lot of the lakes they inhabit in England is actually clear. It's only when they are introduced in rivers like the Murray where man has stemmed the rivers natural flow and the bottom substrate is predominantly made up of clay that they dirty the water up and create a problem.

  • @nikonboy07 Exactly. Our environment hasn't been used to carp living in them. I have seen many rivers where I fish for carp that are horrible because the carp eat tree roots and cause erosion because the tree dies. I only fish then for the environmental safety.

  • @lakrisbaaten not in this country it dosent

  • hard runs :)

  • i think if the dpi catchs you releasing a carp back into the water you get a $1000 fine.

Yes there is carp in Australia pretty much everywhere that has dirty water have them 99% of the time. but there pretty much in every water way lol....

Carp are classified as Noxious fish and have to be killed and burried away from the bank or taken home :) i like carp though :) since im an european person that lives in australia my grand parents like them and they are not bad of a fish to eat.

  • @HardStylahz yeah i catch carp and eat them. theyre good if they are big and if you cook them right.

  • Yeah, we have carp here, they muddy up the banks and the water and the native fish cant breed. In most states they are declared noxious and you aren't allowed to put them back in the water alive.

  • he releases em he sent me a message

  • sorry for my stupid questio: do you have carps in Australia??

im from the netherlands and i didn"t now that ..:D

    Nice carps!!

  • yo nice vid,, is that a ghost koi on 3:55?

  • Why is it illegal to release carp in australia?

  • @SeaBassTN There a pest species. Pretty bad like the rabbit or fox.

  • @Pumpaction06 Why are they considered a pest? What impact do they have on the waters they are stocked in in australia? Do they outcompete some of the native fish or something? I'm not sticking up for them I'm just interested. Probably research I could be doing myself but I'm lazy lol.

  • @SeaBassTN

    They are destroying the ecosystems..

    Watch the "hooked" fishing show..

They have a episode exclusively on how carps are destroying the rivers and eco systems in the US

  • @SeaBassTN Dunno man. You're better off researching it for yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • how didi you catch them?

  • great video and great fishes

  • @ 1:08 he was like FIRST!

  • bloody hell, thought u was going to loose one then

@ 3:35 im pretty sure you can see the carp bolt

  • bloody hell, thought u was going to loose one then

  • Great video guys!!!!

  • what are those thing you put your rods on

  • @platinum244 bite alarms

  • lol, come to lakes and ponds in nsw and just about every one has european carp in them. Councils go as far as emtpying the body of water if possible and killing all the carp.

  • Yea in Australia if you catch a regular carp it is actually illegal to release it becasue they are ruining the murray river and we have to kill them, still fun to catch though.

  • Man those fish are ugly, throw them on the ground somewhere or turn them into fertilizer

  • Some of those bites I thought you were going to loose your rod!!! :) Great vid!

  • Hmmm, nice vid man. Release that bait runner lol. Barbless hooks could protect the lips a liitle more.

The whole thing about carp destroying your rivers and such. How long have carp been introduced to your river systems? Probably longer than you have been fishing them. How easy is if to get a 6ft spinning rod lob a lure out and catch some Shiz!!! Carp fishing takes inteligents skill tactics paitence practice years of knowledge through all these things anglers should behold a respect for carp

  • @DARRAN1000 carp numbers took off in Australia in the 1960s. I have fished for both native fish with lures, and carp with bait and can safely say that far more skill and knowledge is required to catch native's on lures. Our native fish are generally ambush feeders that hold deep in underwater structure, requiring accurate casts and skillful extraction. Carp live in open water and eat bread....very easy to catch. By the way 'inteligents' is not a word. Neither is 'paitence".

  • i seriously hope u die for putting them back in the water alive!

  • @MrNathanDaPro Why?

  • dessere t frein connard

  • some great runs their i caught 2 15lbs today

  • LOL. carp run free in the US. its not rare at all, and tastes pretty bad. xD

  • why so many rods and what do you use for bait carp fishing is a lot different in america

  • Whats The Name Of The Beaping Thing?

  • @Gibbs03095 its called a bite alarm :)

  • carp are fucking pests in aus, and legally you have to kill them or you can get fined.

  • @JAMMAN115 FYI
