Do you know if the Sean character was to be short term? They are playing him as a really bad guy. That was great scene between Anna and Sean. She is one tough Cookie!!
I can't speak with any authority on the subject, but my guess would be that GLoria Monty created him to be the appropriate successor to Luke Spencer (Tony Geary having left the show for several years), in terms of a strong male companion for Robert Scorpio.
Wow. Sean said all that to her knowing HE was the one who broke up Anna and Robert. He was more of a double agent than Anna I would say.

The scene beteen Anna and Sean is very different then what they have now. It was a very powerfu scene.
