That's totally Levon on vox. Another version exists the expanded Big Pink. I don't think Dylan had much to do with this song. I love the Basement Tapes. So many amazing songs (that nobodies ever heard of. )

Unbelievably unique! There is not a single instrument in this mix that is not being played in a totally unprecedented manner, especially for 1967! I challenge you to focus in on one instrument or voice and follow it through ... you'll hear amazing things that only happen when everybody's ego has completely left the room.
