The key change (and Melissa's voice, frankly) make this sound majestic and triumphant. As this is the part of the show where Jimmy commits suicide, I think it's safe to say that JIMMY IS NOT IN A MAJESTIC GOOD TIME MOOD.

Nice vocal interpretation. But I don't like her moves, i don't know, too fluent, too dancy not sick enough for the character. To my mind st jimmy has violent and jerky moves, like he's high on drugs and angry.

the play isnt the same without tony vincent. ive seen it with billie joe... i cried it wasnt right. tony vincent is the one meant for the role!! thumbs up if u agree!!
I just don't think she's a very good actress...maybe a different actress could have sold the idea of a girl!Jimmy....but this.....just.....it seems wrong....it doesn't fit with the play I've come to know and love.
of course im a billie joe fan but i saw the show once with tony, once with billie, and ive seen videos of melissa and i can honestly say that billie was the best out of all 3
