So no, adoption isn't an "easy opt out" either. It can be done, but there are often long standing emotional difficulties.
Men only have ONE form of reversible birth control which is one of the most unreliable forms. Even if a man does all he can do, he is still vulnerable.

Not true. If a man asks for joint custody, it is on the mother to prove that he is an unfit parent. If he wants joint custody, the court can't deny him unless he is proven unfit. If a parent gets joint custody, child support is shared (i.e. both parents are contributing equally to the child--although this varies depending on the state).
The child does not AUTOMATICALLY go to the mother--that is an exaggeration. There is no doubt that family court is unfair to men, it is not "automatic."

I am not a liar but if we want to use anecdotal evidence to prove a point on some national level, then I can easily point out that my close friend has joint custody with her child's father. It is 50/50 during the week and due to her higher income, SHE pays HIM. Before her job took off, he made more and he paid her. Another couple I know pay nothing to each other but split the costs.

That would be nearly impossible to prove, unless she was dumb enough to post on the website Tom talks about! Even then, a judge could easily say that it's also your responsibility to use protection (condoms, spermicides) and without it you increased your chances of fertilization. Also, a man can be drugged and with the use of an electric probe, have baby making sex. I've seen a lot of those cases in 21 years.

Drugging a man is illegal. Having sex with him without his consent is both illegal and rape. Both are punishable by the law. As for these kits, 1) what percentage of women even know about them, never mind use them? 2) Spermicide kills most sperm. The chances of this working after using spermicidal lubricant are nil to none. And I'm willing to bet that if the man can prove it and get a lawyer, then he can sue. The idea that all women or even most women do this is ridiculous.

The growth of this because of a British ruling that allows release names of sperm bank donors. Child support suits have been filed in the US against these men. Donations has dried up, literally. As for charging rape, women are getting child support awards after getting pregnant by underage boys, so you've gotto be kidding.

I know of ONE case where a woman received child support after raping a boy. One. That is hardly ALL. In most cases, this is not so. Its good the Florida doctor filed a law suit. I'd like to see how it turns out. Too often men do NOT file suits and thus they allow the injustice to go by unpunished and unnoticed. There have been no child support awarded from sperm bank donors as of yet (that I know of). A filed suit does not mean donors do or must pay child support.

It is not a double standard to expect BOTH partners to be physically responsible for themselves. Its doesn't matter how many types of birth control methods a woman has access to. All that matters is that EACH parter protects themselves and practice personal responsibility.

If a mother does not want to be involved in the child's life, she, just like a man, must pay the child support as based on her income.
Fathers typically do no pursue child support from mothers due to fears of diminished masculinity--but this is a social issue, not a legal one.

Child support laws do target men because the courts AUTOMATICALLY gives the child to the mother. A man would have to prove that the woman is a crack head in order to have custody. So because women automatically get the child, the it is IMPLICITLY true that the laws says that men must pay or go to jail and have a record.

Not true. If a man asks for joint custody, it is on the mother to prove that he is an unfit parent. If he wants joint custody, the court can't deny him unless he is proven unfit. If a parent gets joint custody, child support is shared (i.e. both parents are contributing equally to the child--although this varies depending on the state).
The child does not AUTOMATICALLY go to the mother--that is an exaggeration. There is no doubt that family court is unfair to men, it is not "automatic."

I am not a liar but if we want to use anecdotal evidence to prove a point on some national level, then I can easily point out that my close friend has joint custody with her child's father. It is 50/50 during the week and due to her higher income, SHE pays HIM. Before her job took off, he made more and he paid her. Another couple I know pay nothing to each other but split the costs.
Anecdotal evidence, while highly emotional, proves nothing.

If a father WANTS to pursue child support from the mother, he is legally allowed and encouraged to do so. Like I said, the law is gender neutral. Do not confuse cultural practice with written law. What needs to change is the perception of "masculinity" and to allow for men to ask for help without being feminized by his peers.
But don't act like its ONLY men that must pay. That's not the case.
