Under french rule, the use of the Corsican language, which is closely related to standard Italian, has gradually declined and has been replaced by french.
Corsica is considered Italian (ethnically, linguistically and historically) .
The Bonapartes are of Tuscan origin. In the middle ages they were eminent as senators of the Republics of Florence, San Miniato, Bologna, Sarzana, and Treviso; and as prelates attached to the Court of Rome. They were allied to the Medici, the Orsini, and Lomellini families.

Statistics : Scipio Africanus, Julius Caesar, Lucius Cornelius Sulla, Fabius Maximus (invented the guerrilla warfare), Pompey, Andrea Doria, Raimondo Montecuccoli, Eugene of Savoy and Napoleone Di Buonaparte.
5. Humanism and the Renaissance: Galileo Galilei (Father of modern observational astronomy; father of modern physics; father of science, and the Father of Modern Science.) Aldus Manutius (Inventor of the italic type and also the first to use the semicolon.) Panfilo Castaldi (The invention of moveable type) etc
6. Painters, sculptors, composers, and architects also dominated the Baroque; the greatest art movement of his time.
Pussy Italy was unifed after we saved your asses again against the austrian but since that time you still be weak, for example when the french conquered a part of Africa weak Italian failed to conquer the Ethiopian...
I repeat the true are franks, Gual was just a geographic name for that certain area. The Franks were the real creators of France, and King Clovis created the French nation in the late 5th century.
The name "France" origionated from the word "Francia" which was the origional name during that time.
This was Napoleone Buonaparte, a man from the island of Corsica, of Italian parentage, but a French citizen, for the island had been forcibly The annexed to France shortly before his birth.
Corsican language ? Is closely related to the Tuscan dialect of Italian, where it is generally understood that Italian is from Tuscan.
History of Corsica ? Etruscan civilization (1200 BC), Roman State, Republic of Pisa and Republic of Genoa (1768) = 2968 Years.
"Napoleon Bonaparte" was not of french parentage; he was born in Corsica into a family whose real name was Buonaparte. His father and mother were Italians, his ancestors were Italian (is essential to remember, had not a drop of French blood in his veins) and Italian was his mother-tongue. His family and Christian names were Italian. Always fluent in his native Italian, Napoleon learned French as a second language, speaking it with a heavy accent and unable to write it grammatically.
The italian always get fucked by corsican rebels dude
Napoleon was corsican not italian, also who fought for napoleon ? the french
If Napoleon comanded the italian army he would certainly lost
Roman are shit the franks kicked their asses the french always dominated you in History italian army is weak it's a fact, even Ethiopia kicks your asses;;;; during WW2 without an army we humiliated a nationalist country like yours before the greek did it

WW1, Louis XIV took Alsace and fucked the german, French Revolution war.....France invaded pussy german and ruled them for 13 YEARS !!!!(Confederation of the rhine)
Pussy Italy get fucked by the Greek so their are weak !!!HAHAHAHA
@RogerJim85 That might be the case but many people in france could not speak standard french that well anyway. I believe that Franco provencal was still predominant in the south east as well as alsacien in the east so your point about not speaking french doesn't necessarily mean he isn't "french". The thing he wanted to do was to make France great not Italy.
@RogerJim85 LOL! Hitler was austrian and Stalin was georgian; didn't knew napoleon was italian.... I wonder how many other famous leaders of nations from history were not acutally of the same nation as the country they got power of....... lol
@RogerJim85 Pure crap. Napoléon was born in 1769, Corsica turned french in 1768. Oh by the way, do you REALLY think he would have been the emperor we know if he had been ialian? I don't think so.
Goat. At that time Napoleon's father was the representative of Corsica at the Court of France. He sent a reply from Versailles, saying the Republic of Genoa had, two hundred years previously, given to one of his ancestors, Jerome, the title of Egregiitm Hieronium de Buonaparte, and that the article de had been omitted because it was of very little use in Italy; that Napoleone was Italian; and that his family name was "Buonaparte," or "Bonaparte."
When he was kid, Napoleon felt Corsican not Italian he want and independant corsica, (Genoa always failed to stop the corsican rebelion and asked for help to the french until they send corsica to us), after the corsican expeled him (because with the time he was for a french corsica) he felt totaly French, he was been educated in France, spoke french and Corsican not Italian
@RogerJim85 Yeah and what? why did he fight for France and not ItaIy if he was ItaIian?? He was a great FRENCH chief,we dont give a shit if he was French or itaIian Iike hitIer was Austrian and not German...
We built many empires in Europe and in the world, we enlarged our country to be the biggest of western Europe, we won more wars, and fought mostly on our own...Pussy Italy accomplished nothing so they are too weak !!! bitch of Spain, Austria and France
1. Roman State ? From 753 BC to the fall in 1461 for a total of 2.214 years.
2. In the Middle Ages ? The term Universal Power referred to the Pope (800-1492).
3. Humanism and the Renaissance ? In 15th-16th centuries, the Italy again returned to be the Center of Western civilization: Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello.
4. Baroque ? Art movement that began near the end of the Renaissance and ended in the 18th century.
Magna Graecia ? From eighth and seventh centuries BC.
The Italian Literature began after the founding of Rome in 753 BC.
Thirty centuries of history allow us to look with supreme pity on certain doctrines which are preached beyond the Alps by the descendants of those who were illiterate when Rome had Caesar, Virgil and Augustus.
france ? "Napoleon" alias Napoleone Di Buonaparte.
A Corsican of Tuscan Origin. "Without Authentic Symbols."
1200 BC (Etruscan civilization) - 1768 (Republic of Genoa) = 2.968 Years.
2. The Corsican language ? A "central southern Italian dialect" along with Tuscan, Campanian and Sicilian. The Corsicans is not french. Corsica is not france.
Tenda, Briga... c'è Mezza Italia in francia.
