@Mrassy123 Actually, it's the Classic 0.30. So it will burn you in the current beta, however in Classic it's just an annoying liquid that slows ya down more than Water. However if you do the same thing in beta , it will set you on fire.

@RebelOfCarnage This was done on Minecraft classic, around the time when Indev was getting its shape and Notch thought up the "Infinite levels" idea. Back then neither me or my friend owned Minecraft and played just (What is now called) Classic mode. This obviously is a bad idea in Multiplayer or Single-player of the Beta game because lava can burn you.

I think the game somehow calculates this as you touching the lava/water, and letting you "swim" up it.

It's less of a lava ladder and more of...uh. Swimming up dirt?

@gamerman54 Well, As i was playing Creative mode, You dont see me being set on fire. However on Survival mode i actually would get set on fire and die if i would try repeating the same glitch. The problem with lava (and water) blocks is that they are slightly bigger than other blocks but only at two corners. Which is how they get that ability of allowing players touch it without even having it visible.

@gamerman54 Well, The way it works on free version is that it relies on server to calculate everything. You can be half-way in lava block, but as long as server won't think you changed your block location to the one with lava, It won't count you "Dieing"

@saqibd123new Um dude, The glitch shows that you can reach lava when its behind a corner which isn't supposed to happen. I also mention the Fact that It's classic version and not Alpha. In Alpha version trying to reproduce this glitch results in a fiery Death on singleplayer and Fiery Annoyance in multiplayer.

If you see the video you notice you can hide the lava between two blocks (We used glass just to show) and no one will ever see it but if you go in that corner, you will be able to climb it. I also don't mention the fact that this is Creative multiplayer, Not Survival/Alpha.

Yes lava makes you go up and i guess the close proximity of it made you do that but what i want to know is how lava got that high. It is usualy way down below, realy would like some lava high up to play with.

We are playing on my private server ,we play custom levels there (Mostly flatgrass) and we make buildings or something else to put lava into using omen. So when we need lava we take it from there.

There was a sand/gravel glitch which allowed ya to switch lava/water's places using sand/gravel (Putting above water/lava) But it was fixed though.
