  • I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE PLAYSCHOOL 1 WHERE ERIC BANNA HAS THE ESKY FULL OF ALCOHOL. CAN U PLEASE UPLOAD IT IF U HAVE IT. "ITS A VB"

  • Epic Poiter epicness. I remember these sketches very well

  • "...who lived in a beautiful cass-lay."

    Yep, definitely a Victorian :D

  • i remembered watching this as a kid - Pure classics, thanks for the upload!!

  • i just randomly looked up poidaaa and this is what came up :P

why i looked up poidaaa? i'll never know

  • Didn't laugh the once during this skit. Bana is just trying too hard here.

  • lol, stereotype... with a mullet...

  • Bana is class. The next gen Paul Hogan. From this to the top of Hollywood's tree. Fair play Eric. I mean chop chop ....

  • I still cant understand how eric can go from comedy to some of the most serious hollywood roles!! lol

  • Loved how he says "Passiona, minimal chips and Chiko Rollllllll...." ....that has me in stitches because you can't get any more bogan with that pronounciation. Bana's a first rate comedian and actor.

  • POIDA! What a great character - my favorite Aussie! He can read me a bedtime story anytime! Maybe the Goldie Sheila and the Three Wombats!

  • Oh my god, why have I not seen this before?! That was hysterical. I'd show it to my relatives but they wouldn't get all the lingo lol!

  • Poida is a fucking legend

  • us Aussies talk awesome :)

  • @lizeloo3896 lol u realise this is a diss at bogans yes?

  • Classic!! Just love it ~ Poida ~~

  • I love him in action films. I didn't know he did comedy :)

  • 'basghetti'

used to always say that as a kid!

  • In all honesty, as an Aussie, I have to say that Australia had one of the worst types of comedians. Honestly, I don't think any country could beat the British. The British just have a natural knack for comedy. I'll be a Rowan Atkinson fan, before an Eric Bana fan.

  • @MsDragon1968 ours is a lot better than USA. but yeah brits oz then everywhere else..

    Shuan micallef is awesome..

  • why did they pull full frontal such a classic show

  • LOL...... seven little bogans... XD

I love the way he says Chiko Roll!! =D

3:14 I keep thinking of Kath and Kim...

    Sharon: or are they just...defacto?

Kim: day-facto, knight-facto.. the fact that they're facto-ing at all, is a dusgusting thought!

  • so not the eric bana today..... lol

  • The poisoned dimmy..hehe.

  • golden aussie comedy. man, i remember these shows years ago. i watched this sketch back when i was in kindegarten. nice to finish grade 12 with this. :)

  • I'm English and I get the humour. He's brilliant, wish we'd had this show over here.

There was lazy, dribbly, dopey, prof... cos 'e finished year 9...

  • i miss the old full frontal / shaun Micallef Programme days.

  • do you have the ones where eric does peter andre and where he does warwick capper doing romeo and juliet??

  • 15 little bogans got kicked out of the block of flats.

  • does anybody know where i can download these? it would be muchly appreciated!

  • @genejospehreibelt ABC shop sell the videos.

  • i <3 poida

  • @ wonkinson... I may be the only non aussie that's watching these skits. From the West Indies here livin in Vegas. Wouldn't mind comin down to your neck of the woods. You aussies are amazin.

  • @novembercherry4 ... nah your right champ, stay there. were full any way

  • I love him... He's so goofy. Eric is awsome!

    Thanx for posting

  • lol cast lay

  • $1.50 worth of chips?...................that's $5 now. Fuck I'm getting old. Classic though. Thanks for posting.

  • Poida is my hero

  • love Poida he is my hero

  • he's come so far!! can;t belive thats the same dude in Munich and Chop Chop... Eric is the man!

  • why is there an unlike button?

  • I think watching sketches like this as a 5 year old made me into the well rounded individual that I am today...

  • lol cas-le

  • FUCKING my favourite!!!!

  • i remember the this, i was in yr 5 lol

  • I love him doing comedy then seeing him as Nero

  • This made my day

  • when he said dragon, i think he meant witch

or it was part of the joke

  • Dragon is an Australian colloquial term for a lady that is not very nice.

With their mean tongues, in effect they 'breathe fire' and are feared by people all around.

When they happen to pass away, people don't tend to care and often celebrate the departure of the dragon.

    That is true as well.

  • Dayum, the accent is think enough to cut through anything.

    Pretty funny shit right here.

  • flybreath - I think the Scots and the Aussies have a lot in common regarding Humour - and we do share the same Macho Drinking Image Culture. LOL

  • Thanks for sharing flybreath - I understood every word - unfortunately I am not under 20 - so that makes me an Aussie - Hillarious Stuff.

  • AHAHAHAHAA this is great, what a bogan!

  • if you can't understand this, you're not a true aussie I say. or you're under 20, lol.

  • @laurence265

Nah, I'm under 20 and I pick it up just fine. Full Frontal skits with Eric Bana are where it's at.

  • even me as a german understands this type of humor. reason might be i stayed for some years in your great country! cya mate!^^

  • @laurence265 Under 20's would have to understand it as most of them speak like it now, unless they are the other extreme and speak like 'Prue and Trude' with the word 'like' used as every third syllable and completely out of context.:) haha

  • dope head lol

  • Open wide, come inside. It's a VB!

  • Bruce Banner?

  • it's eric bana. u know he did comedy in his native Austrlia before he went on to be a Hollywood star

  • Look at 0:11 --- It's Poida in the audience!!!!

  • @BuleJugaManusia LOL you've got a great eye hahaha

  • haha poita is hilarious....I wish they would bring this show back, it was so funny. God if they can bring back Hey Hey Its Saturday, surely they could bring this back!!

  • oi it's poida!!

  • Comment removed

  • I Love Pweeter!!!

  • too funny !

  • hahahha! I miss this show, they should bring it back!

  • fuck man this was the funniest show when i was a kid

  • No doubt. We all knew guys like this growing up.

Hell, they still exist to this day!

  • what the fuck! So this is where Bana started his career! I never knew that! I knew he was from Australia but didn't know where he started, and didn't know how freekin funny he can be! In most of his films he's a serious guy, so this was awesome!

  • watch The Castle he hasnt a big role in it but he's funny as fuck, he's funny in Chopper as well

    Eric's such a good bloke

  • classic

  • Seven little bogans hahaha

  • OMG CLASSIC !!!! been way too long since i last saw this!!!

  • i used to love watching Full Frontal!

Poida and Milo were my favourate sketches!

  • its POIDA!!!!! havent seen this for years, funny shit

  • Eric Bana's Australian accent is Victorian Australian as its vowell pronounciation concentrates on O. Queensland Australian especially to the North concentrates more the vowell E and is more nasal. Just look up Bob Katter on youtube and you will see the difference.

  • His accent is sooo thick....Yeah I don't understand all that Australian slang, at all.

  • I'm Australian and I only understand about half of it.

  • u from Sydney ?

  • Haha no, Brisbane. I have British parents though and I guess I never picked up half the slang.

  • xD give me all the - ratings as you want, im not saying it isnt funny, im saying i cant tell if it is or not cause i cant understand him!!! D:

  • google 80's bogan

  • hahaha

  • Is he speaking too fast for your lonely brain cell?

  • Yes that has to be it, not his thick accent. =\

  • My apologies.

I guess if you aren't Australian he would be pretty much talking gibberish.

This is all fairly common slang for us.

  • im not australian or have never been but i understood every word he said

  • haha live in Australia for a month and you will understand. This wouldn't be funny unless you had lived in Australia at one point or another...

  • u gotta be aussie mate!

  • Haha.. Bana Rocks..

  • UN GRINGO MAS... UNA PAPA SIN SAL...

  • Eric Bana at his best

  • anyone seen Love the Beast ? do ya reckon Eric might've based Poida on his mate Jack ??? HILARIOUS !

  • Mulleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

  • Somehow, when sexy men play characters who are humorously ignorant of how unsexy they are, it just adds to their appeal. ^^ *loves Eric Bana*

  • *sigh* I miss Fast Forward/Full Frontal too :-( They don't make gold like this anymore!

  • Agreed, many people have tried since though, and failed dismally. Like that stupid 'The Wedge' show they had on, what a fuckin' waste of time THAT was.

There's some people just shouldn't be on TV.

  • looooooool love it!!!

  • LOL @ BOSSKETTI

  • i miss full frontal *sigh*

  • nearly choked on a lolly laughing at this!

  • Haha god I haven't see this in years, bogan is defiantly a dying breed these day lol

  • Not really there's still plenty of them out there

  • Fuck yeah mate. Ther all over tha joint. I see em all tha time at tha pub and tha footy.

But not me. I'm from Croydon. I wear flannies and mocasins for comfort, not looks.

    No worries!

  • What?! They're not a dying breed, lol I see plenty of bogans everyday. I suspect you may be a bogan.

  • what is a dimmy?

  • a dimmy is a steamed/fried delicacy better known as a Dim Sim, containing God knows what but possibly the greatest foodstuff ever invented. Vaguely similar to Hagis, it has Asian origins but is best served in take-away outlets in the Western suburbs of Australian cities... Discount at your own peril!

  • kina like sauages. 'mystery meat' or 'arseholes and lips' who knows whats in them but it's yummy

  • America would call it a Dim Sum

  • btw, Aussies made there own version, but its found in any Chinese restaurant around the world, there just half the size

  • Dim Sum is completely different to a Dim Sim

  • Eh, it's nothing like hagis at all. Hagis is a bag of intestines stuffed with a spiced blend of various minced offal. Dim sim is basically the Australian take on Chinese shaomai dumplings. One thing I've noticed is that it's also deep fried like many other Aussie fast foods, something the Chinese never do with the original shaomai version. It certainly is quite meaty, a chiko roll would be a better candidate for the mystery meat thing.

  • Anyone who watches this who isnt Asutralian would hav almost no idea wat he is talkin about

but I guess only aussies would look this up anyway...

  • @wonkinson Except for Kiwis...we love this shit too

  • @wonkinson GOOD! I dont want the dumb fucking americans taking our humour.

  • @TheKillingName74 ... I don't think americans are that bold or smart enough to do this. Everything here is boring now. Bout to go back to Barbados...or Can I come live with you???LOL This is funny ass show.

  • @wonkinson Mate you dont know what your on about

  • Ah, when he had some talent!

  • Nah thats just when he had comedic talent, which he in fact still has. Watch closer you`ll learn more. x

  • Well I honestly wish he'd go back to doing Australian TV. Used to be pretty good, all things considered!

  • Hey mate, if you love something, let it go. I`m sure if I was in your shoes i`d be thinking the same thing. I`m guessing the only way he`d do Aussie TV again is if he hits a brick wall in Hollywood, do you want that to happen? What we do agree on is that he should do more comedies without being the spunky handsome leading man. Who knows, stranger things have happened. Take it easy mate. x

  • Eric bana still has Talent , ya fuckin ASSHOLE ! ! ! !

  • Grow up, will you?

Do your parents know you're using their internet?

  • Telling people to grow up when you're being immature yourself, whining about the choices people make for their own lives? People like Eric Bana don't exist purely for your own amusement.

  • S'if! I think you're putting too much stock in a Youtube comment....

  • haha, free dimmy!

  • That mullet is tops! Classic Bana

  • HAHAHAHA. (= FUNNY!

  • Eric Bana in his Prime

I miss 90's shows like this, Tuckerbag was on this show, he was a god!

  • You just gotta love those litle Troll dolls :)

  • Here's another translation for any one who needs it.

At the Dragon Lady's Fish and Chip shop

"And when Snow White dropped in for her usual Passiona, minimum chips and Chiko Roll, the dragon offered her a free Dimmy."

Passiona - Cheap passionfruit flavoured softdrink/soda

Chips - is hot chips (which i think u should understand)

Chiko Roll- Deep Fried roll filled with a mix of who knows what. Bogan delight!

    Dimmy - Dim Sim

  • Good God...do they still make Pasiona and Chicko Rolls.

Surely they should have been outlawed by this!

  • Of course they still make Passiona and Chiko Rolls! You can get Chiko Rolls in the freezer section of the supermarket.

  • "She used to make them pesgetti on toast every night" That's bogan for Tinned Spaghetti on toast. A truly bogan dinner.

Hi ho hi ho it's off to the Dole we go. (The Dole means on Welfare if you from USA)

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Eric Bana is hot and funny

  • "Mirror Mirror in the flat, whos the spunkiest chick in the block of flats." "Not you you you ugly cow!!" lol funny. kinda struggle to understand him at times though lol

  • he's using his Choppa voice

  • No...when he was Chopper, he was using his Poida voice.

Poida existed before Chopper: The Movie.

  • Skit House and all the other bullshit sketch comedy shows are so shit cmpared to Full Frontal and Fast Forward

Eric looks good with blond hair- he had acne scars lke Brad Pitt but now they both don't... didn't know you could get rid of acne scars

  • send me naked pictures of you, hahhaah

  • haha nice

  • anyone here remember Neville and Bula?? hahah, and also, that bald bloke that used to dress all italian / mafia like, and only say.. "Nooooooh" in a coarse voice?? He used to crack me the hardest..

every new comedy show is PATHETIC

    Skit house? = Shi* house

    Wedge? pfftt..not even gonna bother!

  • "...totally nude." I will always love this show.

  • Anyone got the 'play school' one where Poida gets the stubby of VB and says 'open wide, its a VB? The bit about skinning cats whilst making fluffy dice was gold!

  • rofl this is gold

  • You need to be Australian to fully appreciate this.

  • this is true, u really need be an aussie to get a lot of this.

  • yep, I remember watching this back when I was in Primary School. Still remember it very well. The Fast Forward/Full Frontal sketch comedy brand (1989-1997) was the best ever in Australia, and no over Sketch comedy programmes have come within a country mile of them, in terms of funniness, quality of material, originality and overall entertainment.

Totally Full Frontal (which was a spinoff of the FF/FF brand) had it's moments, but was only a fraction of what FF/FF was.

  • I dunno i think its a close run race between Full Frontal And the Paul Hogan Show. There was a lot more minds working on FF though.

  • @a2b4c6d8 The Late Show was pretty awesome too.Haven't been any as good sketch shows as what I call 'The Big 4" on in a decade.Full Frontal,Fast Forward,Australian Late Show & Paul Hogan all held a mirror to the suburban Australian sense of humour. The

Chaser has its moments, but it tries too hard to be outrageous and is wildly uneven. Chris Lilley is awesome, but he does character work rather than sketch comedy these days.Gosh,I miss funny Aussies on tv.::sigh::

  • stfu u wanker

  • Chill out weeping fungus

  • Your shit, you dont know funny when you see it.

  • Well, thats because you're american, isn't it.

  • Choppa chop chop ! His finest moment by far. Check him out in 'The Castle' a great Aussie movie and really funny.

  • Will do, I've seen some of the clips of The Castle on here, heard about it through Hamish & Andy - tell him he's dreamin! I want to visit Australia now :)

  • Fuck, in grade 4 this was so hilarious... apparently my tastes have changed. Eric Banas a gun anyway.

  • I miss full frontal so bloody much, bring it back, more Aussie TV less yank crap!

  • is Poida meant to be 'Peter' in an Australian accent? or am i totally wrong... :P

  • in a bogan accent

  • and a bogan is sorta like the australian version of a hick

  • It was a running joke. Usually at the start of every episode when the narrator said "Peter", he'd say "Oi. That's Poida".

  • Thanks for enlightening me - i actually googled bogan to find out what it was, (YouTube is an educational experience!) Never knew Eric Bana did stand up either. Going to watch Chopper tonight to further my awareness of Australian culture :)

  • fastforward and full frontal were comedy shows eric bana was in, he was a fuckin funny bastard.

  • chopper is what got eric bana noticed in the states, if you can look up mark 'chopper' reid, you will see how dead on bana imitates him, it is awesome.

  • Killing drug dealers and beating up your lady friends isnt the culture of all Aussies :P but its a bloody great movie and i love it. You should check out "The nugget" for Aussie culture is effin gold. And yes it has Eric Bana.

  • Yeah i rkn its peter mate lol

  • lol this is my fave Poida skit..

I miss Full Frontal! Eric is awesome.

  • More of them yanks need to know about Eric's history.

  • Haha!! LEGEND!

  • lol...how funny is he..
