Well i have 165 dollars to buy paintball stuff and there is a gun package on ebay that cost 134 dollars but it comes with a crappy loader and a 20 ounce co2 tank. I have enough left to buy a decent electric hopper but not enough to buy a hpa tank wich do you think is a better investment a hpa tank or a good hopper?

@oblivionmaster92 depends on where you go. most fields in the midwest charge over $60 for a case, many well over. the more popular the field, the higher the prices. also, for 23.99, you probably are not getting very good paint. in canada, over $100 for a case is normal.

80$ a case and 30$ entry and you may want to consider not playing? holy fuck im getting ripped off. im flat broke putting my self through college, try to play every weekend and pay 30$ entry and 140$ to 160$ a case for paint (depending on if i play saterday or sunday). and getting cheaper paint means playing something like a 3v2 attack and defend opposed to a 30 or 40 man capture the flag or team death match

In wichita ks, theres 3 fields in the area. The best one graffiti paintball, cost 10 bucks for admission and all day air, and is 45 bucks for one case.

ive been playing for around 9 months now and i feel that i am a very privileged player. i live in new zealand and the paintball scene is very small here with only 24 teams in the country (not just good teams). at field i play at every week end the best team in nz plays and a couple of regular players put a team together and trains for free every week for free(other than paint $80 a case) because the owner has been playing for 30 years and wants to see it grow in nz.

As good as a video as this is, where i live, it's hard to do what he says. The only stores around here that sell paintball gear are a sports shop and walmart. The closest field is half an hour away, and i have no way to get there. That being the point, i've started to make a field in my back yard where my friends and i can play. That will work, but there is obviously no rental or anything. So Make makes a good point, before you start to play, think about how easy it would be for you to play.

The monopoly local paintball fields have is annoying. There's a store I know of that sells 2000 paint balls for $30 but the field I HAVE to go to only lets you use their paint and it's $70 for 2000 paintballs, both literally the SAME BRAND. Fffffffffffffffffffffff.

@MrIAMRUSSIAN YES, its a gun in between speedball but leaning at woodsball. if your going speedball GET THE E GRIP OR GET YOUR FACE DENTED BEFORE SOMONES GUN DOES.speaking of you can customize everything in on around the gun. i would try to get skinny as possable or you will get out alot. start with getting a good hopper, thats what gets most people for tippmann, there is a small diamond shaped one. and last you might not like it for its wieght i like the wieght b/c when i aim it stays steddy

I watched a previous video of yours where you were talking about markers for woodsball and you recommended DP over Tippman. I don't plan on playing xball or anything, only woods, and I have to raise the funds for all my paintball equipment (15 and no job.) Dangerous Power is more expensive than Tippman and I'm not a hardcore player. Should I tough it out and save up for an E1 or should I go with a Custom 98 and just add on as I get the money?

@runinasics Go 98 custom. it's tried and true. Look elsewhere for an opinion...from what I've seen there's a lot of tippmann hate.

@runinasics go with the 98 or an A5 from Tippman because they are low maintenance and all of their markers are very durable and perfect for woodsball and also modifiable for woodball because DP is a good company but if the marker fails you'll have to pay to get it fixed as for the Tippman markers are highly unlikely to fail and always ready for play no matter how long they've been sitting around

Im 10 and I am just old enough to play at my local paintball field. Its free to get in, the cheapest case of paint is $40. The most is $80.Air filling is $5 and co2 is too.I have 2 tippmann guns a 98 custom and an Alpha black. Ive only played 3 times and im in love with the sport thanks for the vid it helped alot.

Yea save up and get a new gun and mask, and like he said do the nitrogen it's way better than co2 you have more shots and your gun doesn't mess up as bad. I've been playing for 7 years and I recommend a planet eclipse etek 3 they are awesome they shoot just like the 08 ego and eclipse is awsome you can't go wrong with them. But yea man just save up and get a better gun and better equipment and hope to see you in a tourney one day.

First is, how often do u play paintball? I play about once a month, from 11am-5pm, is this about average? My next question is, should i sacrifice playing to save up for a better marker?
