I made this with a charging capacitor too and that version did not work. in order for it to steer, the motors need to be pulsed. with this circuit the motors take turns fireing and only for short bursts. with a constant feed of power this dose not work. it just vibrates all around, not seeking light.

Good job Jab! I thought that this was possible. I need to build one of these although I like to make larger versions just for the excitement.
