You get what you give. Using a little common sense goes a long way...do you wonder WHY you only make 30k? I really don't mean to be insulting or mean but TSA is just ridiculous in how it treats people nowadays.
Trust me, some of what we do makes as little sense to us as it does to you, but we have to follow procedure. As for why we make what we do, it's mainly because we have no collective bargaining rights, and the govt wants to keep it that way. And many of our managers are dolts. As a result, many of our stations are undermanned, and morale is in the pits. I got a 1% increase plus cost-of-living this year, and I've been busting my tail for almost four years.
