Why exactly do Grown-ups play airsoft and not paintball, I mean I'm 12 and I play paintball getting bunkered (get shot by a paintball at 280 fps from 6 feet away) and I think it's more fun cause I used to play airsoft. I mean, you cant go out to a public airsoft field in my city. If you want more fear and adrenaline paintball is the way to go. besides, if you dont feel an airsoft bb you cant tell if you got hit or not, and airsoft grenades make noise, paintball grenades spray paint.

@jamespeterson82 Some airsoft grenades spray bbs. Also, some people have airsoft fields in their city. I believe airsoft is more fun because it looks more realistic and is easier to clean up. Besides, us "grown-ups" have an equal amount of people who play paintball.

AUG all the way. I don't see why more people don't use it. Long barrel, short length, cheap, good fps, awesome accuracy with a tightbore, and they look sweet. The only reason I'd get an M4 is to customize it

i love airsoft, i have nothing to say about paintball wheres your weapon choice? its an assault rifle, sniper, smg, thats it, well maybe a nade launcher etc... but jesus its just like halo.. lol no weapon choice at all, plus Airsoft hurts and when u get hit u generaly move a little or say ow, which is how u know u get em, its funny my loadout for EVERY war is : L96 strapped to my back for long range, (dont ask how i do that) and a AK47 with a 5x 600rd clips, and a M119A1 blowback gas pistol :) !

From my experience, people bitch and nearly get in fights about getting shot in paintball a helluva lot more than they do in airsoft.

Where I play, paintballers are always screaming "hit!" leading me to believe it's a much more dishonest of a sport, where in airsoft, people generally call themselves out when they're shot in respect of the game.

Airsoft seems to have more honor amongst its players, which is why I like it more.

CQC is generally fair game because players go in understanding how tense it can be indoors so they're usually mentally prepared to get sprayed at point blank, so they don't bitch about it when it happens, though usually both parties spray in reaction and as a result, they usually both tap out exchanging details on how they shot each other.

Alternatively you can call "Parle'" (like in Pirates of the Caribbean) and just back up and reengage

@iceteaguy That's not necessarily true. There may have been some bad players whwen you experienced it. But then again the same goes for when I have played airsoft. I hear guys yelling "You're out!"followed by "YOU DIDN'T GET ME". It goes the same for both ways. The reason why a lot of paintballers call it though, is because they are usually competitive players, and want the ref to "paint check" them to confirm the kill. There isn't a lot of "competitive" airsoft. Either way, I like em both.

I'm not sure if this is a stupid question but, i'm new to airsoft and trying to learn what i can. My question for anyone willing to answer is can you carry more then one main weapon? instead of a side arm. Like a combo of some assault rifle and a sniper.

Can't aim using a weapon in each hand. If you do take a second AR or sniper rifle you have to sling it over your back and it's hard to run like that. Better to just take more mags for your primary.
