  • it's one of my favs movie part . we must confront our nature.

  • no description available

  • whats the name of the soundtrack??

  • @shodgate it's called "Bethena" by Scott Joplin

  • WOW I wish i could pirouette like that..sooooooooo luv Cate

  • Some people dance, some people scratch their back, some people eat string cheese, some people get chicken pox, some people like raisins, some people listen to music, some people get parking tickets, some people sit down, some people make yeast, some people know what a book is, some people make buttons, some people make Benjamins, and some people....some people...think this movie has something powerful to say...(FADE TO BLACK)

  • @BunnyMan456 lol isn't that how dramatic Hollywood movies get academy awards? Talk about life and a lot about death + meaningful words + violins = win!

  • @Em183 ha minus the meaningful words

  • Isn't it beautiful?

  • This is serenity

  • The saddest but most beautiful movie I've ever seen. I had no idea, originally, that this was from an F. Scott Fitzgerald story!

  • i♥ everything in this scene!!! the music, the text, it's just completely wonderful

i like the speakers voice very much , it's so throaty

  • @DasLischenPischen it's brad pitt...

  • this piano piece reminds me of all the people i have come across and have had an impact on my life

  • i have watched this movie and its ending many times, and it still makes me emotional. most beautiful ending ever

  • So at the end did he become a walking sperm?

  • @BIG10717 No, he died... So rather than dying of Old Age, he dies as a Child instead of re entering a woman in the womb.. .i guess

  • I just think that it is sad that we was born with a number on his life already - born at 70 he can only have up to 70 years to live.

  • no one realizes how much i cry at this part. it's so perfect.

  • This is the one of the best movies I will ever see, the deep sense of meaning in this movie is so surreal and moving. This movie will be placed next to the classics such as Dances With Wolves.

  • "no description available". perfect. because this ending is undescribably perfect.

  • Great movie....... almost perfect...... cause needs the oscar thats it

  • When the clock starting ticking I just couldn't hold back the tears anymore that part always makes me cry.

  • And some people.. dance. *sigh*

  • This film is so much better than Forrest Gump.

  • This part just makes me cry so much. This movie forsure beats SlumDog Millionaire.

  • "Some know Shakespeare, some are mothers". When I heard this, I just wanted to give my mom a big enormous hug.

  • This should have beaten slumdog slumdog was good but the reason I think they let it win was because of a race thing because they wanted to show that they aren't discriminative or hateful of east native culture. Benjamin button wasn't even a rip off of Forrest gimp because Benjamin didn't do all these famous things and the story is completely different. And I am in no way racist or consider western culture superior as I am a minority even though I live in north America and was raised to believe

  • after seeing this it mustve been an impossible choice between this and slumdog

  • I started crying when I saw this part. It's so meaningful and it touched my heart! This is definitely a movie I won't forget!

  • '..some are mothers' I don't know why but those three words choke me up every time :')

  • @Mmmmcress Me too. I lose it when he says that.

  • It's just a perfect ending... so, so perfect....

  • its kinda sad ending but happy at the same time, strange i know

  • @charliebell01 It's melancholic and purposely deep and yeah, I know what you mean about the happiness. Beautiful.

  • song???

  • @bananahead82

    Scott Joplin - Bethena

  • It goes to show, life is hard and often unfair but there will always be people who will help you along and love you.

    :'{

  • this is a great and meaningful ending!!

  • It makes me shiver,

What a wonderfull movie, isn't it?

  • truly inspirational

  • i love this mive but it show how life is to easily to give up

  • how did he died??

  • @themalarya he grew young and became a baby and it was as if he had never been born...but the memory of Benjamin Button lived on within the hearts of those who loved him

  • this makes me sob every time. and I love how queenie mouths, "my baby," (at least I think that's what she's trying to say) as she spreads her arms open. beautiful. and for those that asked, the song is Bethena: A Concert Waltz by Scott Joplin.

  • @epicpwn15000 seriously?! That's hilarious but real stupid at the same time.

  • he should have turned into a sperm D:

  • That song + "Some people are mothers" = Man tears

  • Can't wait for malick's The Tree of Life with pitt

  • this movie is the best, to me it almost defines life, shows us what diversity really is

  • brad pit .....this is his masterpiece..this is the movie that he should brag to his children that he was in it :)

  • there is something stuck in my eye

  • I love the relationship between the clock and Benjamen. It ticks backwards like Benjamen ages backwards.

  • what's the song that's playing in the background? I absolutley love it!

  • @jonasbrothersrock125 it is bethena by scott joplin

  • @jonasbrothersrock125 Bethena by Scott Joplin

  • And lots...cry whenever they see this ending... :.(

  • this was such a great movie. this is one of my favorite ending in cinema.

  • Sorry, but I think Fincher fu%$ed up the ending...IMHO he shoulda ended the movie with "and some people...dance" and a slow close up of Daisy twirlng in slow motion and then fade to black. The movie is really about Bens love for her... Thoughts?

  • @RideMyBMW The movie was more about his life in general and the experiences he had. A big theme in the movie, apparent in multiple monologues, is to live a life to it's fullest and never be afraid to start over. The clock being washed away in the end literally symbolizes the end, it was also introduced in the beginning to represent the beginning of Benjamin's story. The clock is symbolic of him in that it goes backwards in time. In a way, this ending scene is supposed to summarize the movie.

  • @SophisticatedMonster Dude, didn't sign up for a Film course here...In the theatre I was like : "end it now, end it" but no, the dude had to cram a few more minutes of Katrina flooding New Orleans n sh%$. The very last scene with the clock ruined it for me.

  • @SophisticatedMonster Thats Hurricane Katrina washing the clock away...no joke...I was surprised when I found this out but the movie storyline played it so well....New Orleans 2005....Beautiful Movie

  • love films that go through the whole of someones life, this film and my sisters keeper are real eye openers

  • The "some are mothers" part always cracks me up. T_T

  • Such a great story about life.

  • I was 13 when i saw this and im a guy, and i cried at the last half of this movie. Well done. Brad's best

  • I remembered when the old guy was there telling Benjamin "Did I ever tell you I was struck by lightning 7 or 10 times. Haha

  • i was crying all time for the movie.. :(

  • this is a great movie. Really sad at the end though

  • just saw the movie. i cried man it remind me a lite of forest gump

  • this movie is so SAD.............

  • If you see, at the end of the video, the clock is ticking in the opposite direction, like Benjamin Button ! =D

  • cried :'( amazing film!!

  • such a beautiful movie with gorgeous ending i love how the high lighted each character as anyone in the world

  • It's my all time favorite movie. I've watched well over a dozen times.

  • yeah i dont know how so many people hated it.

  • @whadyawantfromme In my opinion it was the best and most well written movie I have ever seen in my entire life.

  • Just the greatest.

  • loved that film. at the end i cryed like a pussy

  • Absolutely perfect.

People talking smack about this movie always pisses me off.

  • @xtrmntr75 I coudn't agree more!!!

The movie was absolutely perfect and it leaves you with a lot to think about! :)
