That is a hard trick to teach 'em, I had my first dog doing it, but not much past 3 stays, if that, he'd figure I was messin' with him and go ahead eat it! (beagles can be quite obstinate if they think you're messin' with them) And you can teach them tricks at any age, just keep their interest and praise them right, they like to show off : )
