Boxersare amazing dogs. Mine had passed away a few months back. She lived to be 15 and was such an active and happy dog her whole life. Got her when she was 2 from a house that she was a left in.I still can't see why anyone could leave her behind. She was so nice and so well behaved from the 1st day. I miss her and always will. =)

@MrLag1337 You realize it's recommended to brush a dog's teeth too, right? I don't necessarily brush my dog's teeth, but I do use a gel that does all that action for me. I don't want to accidentally hurt her gums, etc. PS. Brushing your teeth 3 times a day can be bad for your teeth too. You can brush the enamel off and such. You should brush them after breakfast and before you go to sleep. Excessive brushing can cause inflammation.. But I'm not giving you a lesson on hygiene.

Do they ever compete for attention or are they OK with each other. I used to have two dogs that were jealous of each other, so when I stroked one I had to stroke the other or it would bark. Both were rescue dogs that had fleas, sores and were thin. I got them from the RSPCA in the UK and give them a home for 13 years! They seemed to appreciate what I had done for them in their own way. Once you get to know your dog you can see any changes or odd behaviour, even when he/she is happy & content.

If they see you, as their pack leader, then they will accept and even care for eachother.

If they don't see you as their pack-leader, then they will fight for dominance.
