Less than 1% of Colombian drugs stay in the country - there is just no demand plus it is expensive - compared to the apetite in US/Europe. US and Europeans have MUCH more disposable income where in Colombia 80% of the population is concerned with food and meds (things US and Europeans take for granted) rather than doing lines.

Less than 1% of Colombian drugs stay in the country - there is just no demand plus it is expensive - compared to the apetite in US/Europe. US and Europeans have MUCH more disposable income where in Colombia 80% of the population is concerned with food and meds (things US and Europeans take for granted) rather than doing lines.

I find it interesting that when drugs are talked about, only COLOMBIA is mentioned. An in depth research would clearly show that they are only a percentage. Cocaine also comes from other countries. Colombia is only known for it because of people like Pablo Escobar. Dont forget PERU, ECUADOR, VENEZUELA also manufactures the drug. Sabían ustedes que mientras que en Estados Unidos en el 2005 los indices de asesinatos eran de 166 personas en una población de 100 mil habitantes, mientras que en Colombia es de 37 por cada 100 mil habitantes?....

Es el racismo de ciertos sectores en colombia, como este comentario, lo que permite a grupos como las FARC y el ELN reclutar, por supuesto, como no va querer alguien marginalizado sentirse dignificado si solo puede esperar insultos y racismo en la sociedad. Claro que con gusto van a meterse a guerrilleros.
yo digo que el conflicto en Colombia, mas alla de ser un conflico de clases, es hasta un punto un conflicto racial, donde los indios y negros todavia se les trata como de segunda clase
