If she can sing that note in the studio, there is no reason why she cant do it live. The difference is is that in the studio if you dont hit a note perfect you can go back and keep doing it until it is perfect. When you sing live you only have that one time to hit it right. My guess is that she doubted her ability to hit it perfectly

Here's how I see it......even if she did, she deserves to lipsync once in awhile. That voice of hers has to rest sometime plus, she was already singing good I assume with notes that she knows she can hit as she moves around the dance floor.

I'm not disappointed. This girl works VERY hard for her money. One of the VERY few artists now that I buy their album and feel good about getting because she earns it! :)
