  • @julianheart box squats are done with the entire posterior chain. glutes, hamstrings, back, etc. if you're having trouble out of the hole, i would have to guess its in your hamstrings man. best of luck.

  • i did 415 today for max effort......lol...pales in comparison but it was my first time ever doing these for a max effort....i really felt the bar pushing me forward they. they are so much harder than straight barbell squats shit i didn't know what i was getting into. question though, if my ssb box squat is quite weaker than mmy regular squat, what are my weakpoints, i had troble getting out of the hole on 415 but then blasted it up after the initial bottom portion of the lift with good speed,

  • @jef1271 Kevin is obviously strong and can take it. Ed and Kirk both walked out with 1000lb+ on their backs, it can and has been done.
