  • i cant wach this drama

  • Wow , i hear the same from my lady verbatim .... and my team mates as well . Nice Doc. like how the focus is on the lifestyle .

  • best of the 3 parts.

    very nice

  • I din't understand all the fuss about this movie. He has the same problems like every Martial Artist, some people do even more then just family, work and trainings.

Besides, having hobby (not necessarily Martial Arts) helps every human being in having meaningful life, beyond grey reality.

  • Thumbs up if BJJ has changed your life for the better!

  • Those two brown belts rolling together at 5:40...that's just so beautiful

  • @demon39063 I agree, i almost cried dude..

  • @properjuijitsu ok pa ifits so bad then why in the first ufc with no rules did it beat everyone, including traditional jui jitsu, so go and educate yourself befor you coment back IDIOT

  • why would 3 people dislike this

  • @1crommy make that 4!! LOL BJJ sucks and so do people that do it! This could just as easily be a football documentary, because BJJ is a sport not a martial art and sucks for self defense!!

  • @properjujitsu Fucking idiot!

  • @1crommy make that 4!! LOL Apart from being the dullest documantary ever....BJJ sucks and so do people that do it! This could just as easily be a football documentary, because BJJ is a sport not a martial art and sucks for self defense!!

  • @properjujitsu Dont worry about that IDIOT! Ive found that the ones who talk the most crap about Jiu Jitsu are the ones who FEAR it the most.

  • @168bthp There usually the ones that have been tapped out the most too. ahaha

  • @properjujitsu Have you ever tried it?

If it's so dull than why did you get up to part 3?

    LOL, Dickhead

  • I wish I started training 15 years ago =(

  • This is an awesome critique. I'm getting tired of watching anything jiu-jitsu related that doesn't come off as steroidal, mindless, laced with acid-metal and advertisements. This mini-doc gives jiu-jitsu the heart that is rarely seen nowadays.

  • @kellum634 armbar

  • Awesome, bro. Keep it up, excellent attitude. :)

  • The flow rolling at 5:45 is beautiful.

  • @MMAgrrl I was wondering if its gay to think what you said...

  • "it's about bettering yourself period..."

  • Only change of life is your nose gets stuck up someone butt hole, like 5 times a day and you Heel hook a foot with fongus on it.

  • Jiu-Jitsu is our religion. I do not need an imaginary being telling me what is right and what is wrong. Do you believe in Big Foot? They are around the same basis, right?

  • @Boltz87 how so? big foot legend is just an animal in the woods. god is the creator of the planet. we are his children, and jiu jitsu is what we do.

  • Get your priority straight dude, God, Family, Work, Passion. Your a bit out of wack.

Looks like your doing Passion/Work, Family, God.

This order is going to fail sooner of later.

  • The image of Cracie Jiu Jitsu here in Brazil is extremely ruined.

    Family Gracie = Problematic

  • The only different between other religion and Christianity, is that Christian are going to Heaven and all others are not.

  • dam bro thats kind of wrong what you say im not into religion but come on think about it what makes you think your write there are about 1000 differnt types of religions out there think about it you could be wrong religion has so manny holes its not evern funny read a Evolution but you might learn somthing

  • BJJ and jiu jitsu are not the same

  • this was a good documentary until it turned into blatent US Grappling propaganda. fuck the business men.

  • @loegdberg. you do know that Catholics are christian, right?

That is where you are wrong, go to a Christian church and you will see the difference.

  • catholics are christian christian is just the general term for followers of Jesus Christ

  • The Gracies did not invent Jiu Jitsu they learn it from a Japonese man that went to Brazil and they became more exposed to the medio hence they are known for having invented this art, wigh is a false claim...legends are not real.

  • The Gracies never claimed to invent BJJ they just are credited for bringing the art to America. The man you mentioned is named Mitsuyo Maeda and he didn't teach them BJJ he taught them Judo and they decided to expand on it and make their form of JJ named Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

  • @dacandy No mitsuyo maeda taught the gracies Kodokan judo and Helio changed it so the apllications were more about technique than physical attributes..

  • i thought it was an interesting video.

Bjj is a great sport and passtime. i love it and will continue doing it as long as my body allows.

However, you cannot allow BJJ to be the focus of your life. BJJ is merely a reflection of the goodness from the Source of all Good. Our focus should always be on the Source of all Good, from which good things like BJJ and family come from.

  • I have a question for you .. Im just wonder of what higher authority you are that you have the right to tell me or anyone else on here or anywhere in life what they can and cant allow to be the main focus of their life ... It may be a great sport and a passtime to you and to me and many others a life style that is the main focus of my life ... choose your words a little more wisely there buddah and keep shit like that to yourself .. Thank god for freedom

  • I'm not religious or anything, but everyone may believe in whatever they want and go to whichever church they want to. and btw, you do know that Catholics are christian, right?

  • Some people don't need a book to tell them how to live their life. I mean I like reading fiction books more than anyone but that doesn't mean that I think I can fly, journey to Mordor and throw the ring of power in the fires of Mt doom, or that I have a soul that when I die will somehow fly up to the sky where there is said to be a paradise when all thats really up there are stars. Keep reading your book I prefer to live my life freely.

  • That was excellent. Such a pure and true video.

  • Awesome video.

  • The guys seem happy only when they are on the mat. When they speak they look tired and a bit depressed.

  • @lootqwe It's not depression. We feel like we are completely calm, balanced and centered, and like nothing that happens around us really matters.

One key lesson is that staying patient and calm and only charging ahead at the right time (and then going explosively at full speed) can get you through some of life's most trying times.

BJJ was the only stability I had for years. It kept me from going crazy while everything else was fluctuating. I stayed very calm and balanced because of BJJ.

  • my worst fear is a joint injury in my legs

since im young and only a blue belt

  • great vids!

I recently broke my ankle and watching these has helped to keep my spirits up!

Im going stir crazy! lol I can't wait to get back to the dojo.

    Osu!

  • The greatest life there is... the life of a martial artist :')

  • Amazing video, i thought that i was the only one with this problem. Try to combine, work, family and the love for BJJ. Sometimes they just don't understand us!

  • so true :))

  • great movie !

  • awesome man!

  • this is just great, watched all 3 parts and i totally agree , ju jitsu changes lives for the better. it sure did for me. :) 5/5

  • agreed... ive just went through the worst couple months of my life, and the only thing keeping me together is my bjj classes, thank you gracies to all u have given me

  • brilliant mini documentary!

i hope you keep making more of these kinds of videos!

  • Awesome movie. I, as well as plenty others, can relate to the work, family, Jits struggle.

  • great movie, it is indeed highly addictive and rewarding both physically and mentally. it is truely a lifestyle

  • yeah i just got done watching all 3 videos and thank you for representing the sport so well. much respect

  • Watched all 3 parts. good job capturing the impact bjj has. Good description of what if feels like when rolling/training. Good stuff overall, well made.
