  • don't you need a ballast to run those?..I would think you don't just hook them up to the factory wires and turn them on?

  • Great job but It would have been nice to see the finished product on the vehicle with some output pics

  • I do not have the vehicle, and the owner did not send me any pictures with the headlights installed.

    cya

  • I've seen several videos of people retrofitting projectors and angel eyes into reflective housing headlamps but I was curious how I would hook them up. Nobody ever shows what wiring is involved. For instance my headlights come on automatically with a light sensor at dusk. Would they still work? And do you have to wire the angel eyes into the parking lights or something?

  • Just a quick answer. You use a separate wire harness with relay. Relay is just a switch but you do not use your finger to turn it on and off. You send an electric current to turn it on/off. So basically you connect existing headlight wire to this custom wire harness with relay. Then if you turn on your headlight switch, relay gets the electric current so it turn on your HID light. search ebay for HID wire harness. And yes people usually tap onto parking wire for angel eye.

  • Not this one. I have the same sealant on my car for 4 years now, and no condensation yet.

  • I am not meaning condensation. I heard that some sealant fumes causing thin hazy film inside of the lens. You don't have this kind of problem with what you used? What is it anyway and where can I et it?

  • The fumes are caused only with the 100% rubber sealant that is not cured all the way, and then sealed the lens back on. Allow at least 48 hours for the sealant to cure, and you will never see any fumes. The sealant only fumes when the sealant is in drying process. I've learned that 4 years ago on my own headlights. :)

  • You sure it's 100% rubber sealant that fumes? I heard it's silicon based sealant that fumes. Also heard that these silicon based sealant take months to cure fully. So you saying one you used (polyurethane) still fumes but cures within 48 hours?? Where can I get one of those?

  • I buy my from the Auto glass shop. Go to any autoglass shop that change the windshields, and buy the sealant from them. If you still can not find the sealant let me know, I will get you a tube "High Viscosity Polyurethane Autoglass Adhesive".

  • doesn't that sealant cause fog inside of the headlights?
