I grew up watching Lonely Planet / Globe Trekker in India. At that time, Discovery and National Geographic were just launched. As a teen, I was always fascinated by Megan's charm and its about 10 years now. She still holds the same charm. I agree that Ian Wright is the best host on Globe Trekker and I absolutely love him too as a host. But Megan brings her own sweet silly personality to the show. For me, they are

1. Ian Wright

2. Megan McCormick

3. Justine Shapiro

and the rest are ok.

I just finished watching the Portugal episode with Megan in it.

Some people on here are saying that she's an airhead or whatever, but to me, she just seemed bubbly and youthful. Some people are just naturally upbeat and silly. That doesn't make them an airhead. Jeez.

Sorry, but Megan McCormick makes it difficult to watch episode when she is the host on Globe Trekker.. Is she really that much of an air-head or is it (hopefully) an act? Ian Wright is by FAR the best Globe Trekker host. He adds so much more to an episode than Megan or any of the other hosts...
