I'm not gonna be nit-picky when it comes to graphics... I don't care... It's been FOREVER since I had my DOA fix!!! I MUST GET THIS GAME!!!!

Fall through glass roof > no glass follows you down to the ground. Impact particle effects look low res and low framerate. Flat looking water. 30fps with 3D turned on. Either Tecmo half-arsed this or the 3DS is underpowered for the job.

@fartybumholes It is a portable game you know. The 3DS is not as powerful as a Xbox 360 or Playstation 3... But it is more powerful than a PS2, PSP, or Wii.

@kreanaut No. 3DS has more RAM and better fixed function shader support. Super Street Fighter IV is out on 3DS (launch game) and probably wouldn't even be possible on the Wii.

@doroza2lol Yea those would be no problem at all. 3DS is absolutely more powerful than PS2 in every way by a fair margin (almost 2 times). But a game like Halo 1 might be a bit of a stretch.

@fartybumholes you do like to bash on this game, and you're just pointing out the obvious and just the negatives of the game. You're not looking on the brightside. When someone refutes you with a really great point, you seem no to respond. You don't back up your claim.

@CaMote558 How is "3DS isn't a games console, you should be impressed a portable can do this" or whatever a really great point? Phones are capable of better. I don't need to back up my claim because it's blindingly obvious to anyone with eyes.

Continue praising overpriced weak hardware with half-arsed games all you like, I'm pushing Nintendo for better.

@fartybumholes Your point can be valid at this point. But I've yet to see a phone being able to handle games like Metal Gear Solid 3 (Metal Gear Solid 3DS). Perhaps the phones can produce more polygons than a portable gaming device. But, realistically, that's only because you see the same phone being updated every year or so. The 3DS will need to last 5+ years. The hardware is weaker because it's a DEDICATED gaming machine not a multi-tasking one. That's why it can handle bigger, better games.

@Charizard215 If the iPhone 3GS (two years old model) can handle Epic Citadel as well as it does (YouTube it!) it can clearly produce a better looking version of MGS3 than 3DS. The controls would just be crap and I don't know of any multiple gigabyte iPhone games.

But the point is a dedicated gaming portable like 3DS should be more powerful than a two year old phone.

@fartybumholes It's funny you mention that. Epic Citadel was merely a demo of UDK on the iDevices. iDevices can't handle real games. And by that, I mean Metal Gear Solid. With that in mind, would you rather have a full/awesome game or a demo with pretty textures? It all comes down to the experience, and Nintendo knows that very well. Also, you're "pushing Nintendo for better" (graphics, I assume). Wii and Nintendo DS have been the only "weak" competition amongst the others. N64 > PS1, GCN > PS2

@fartybumholes Obviously, and this game in particular set the bar way up high. This game is a remarkable presentation. Phones don't do so well. They lack what handhelds don't. Example, Resident Evil 4 and Mercenary Versus for the Iphone, I believe. Those are not quality games and they lack simple things such as character grunts. You seem like those "sony fan boys".
