Who Cares how much power it had at that time - the only thing relevant is the fact that it STILL blew the Supercharged GT, and at the time, was most likely THE most powerful XR6T..... And for all the Haters, it puts out 637KW @ the WHEELS..

As for not having had the Balls-Out engine built then, I recall it would have been back in 05 or 06 when Brian first got Simon @ NizPro to start the engine....

I have no doubt.. All had trouble with wheel spin in most of the over 750 Hp turbos.

The in line 6 pushes huge torque and mostly over 850Nm up to over 1000 Nm, and I think this is where the problem was, as all had Stree tyres.

In 2003 they had made a 1,000KW (At the fly) Motor. Stock internals, only uprade Turbo and custom ECU.

The 1,000hp this video referrs to is fly wheel, because its the engine builder's spec. (Which is always flywheel estimate).

Only 3 years in to the BA series, there was already massive improvements in performance, as I said - 1,000FWKW engine with stock internals. So this kind of power wasn't difficult to imagine when the video was made.

Im not a drag racer, but my first pass at wsid 10 months ago I did 138mph, so its got some grunt, and thats the fastest trap speed of any xr6 manual in Australia. In fact it went from 92mph half track to 138mph full track, to give you an indication of the acceleration capability. I also have a F6 6-speed auto that has run an 11.0 @132mph, but by comparison the big powered blue manual is in another league and does have a genuine 1000HP.
