  • YOU HAVE A GOOD START,SLOW THE TEMPO AND FOCUS ON THE LYRICAL QUALITY OF THE MUSIC,LET IS SING OUT. PLAY WITH MUCH LEGATO.

  • Good job, but I agree with slowing it down. Also, try to keep it the same tempo all the way through the piece, unless your copy or interpretation is different than mine. At times you also seemed a little hestitant to me. Thanks for putting on the middle part. Once you polish this off, it will be a beautiful piece. Again, nice job.

  • nice job, but try to slow it down.

And at the beginning of the page where the grace note is try to put pressure on the downbeat

  • Thanks for the positive feedback!! Really, I recorded and posted to show my friends my piano. I certainly haven't polished-off this one, but I think I got the basic feel of it. I agree it sounds fast. My copy indicates Andante (dotted-quarter 44-50). Maybe you can see my little digital metronome on the lamp, it is set at 44 to guide me. Although, I'm trying to let the notes guide my rubato, I wanted to follow the notation as close to possible. I do prefer to play it slower. Thanks again!

  • Yeah, I also need to get a better microphone. The camera's built-in microphone doesn't do the piano justice. The HD video is really cool, though.
