@3255bubba I'm not going to comment on his personal financial situation. My personal view, is that everyone should pay their taxes on the properties they own. If they cannot or wish not to pay the taxes, they should get rid of the properties.
Its Sad To See This But Alot Of Great Memories There, Can This Building Be preserved as A Historical Landmark, As A Contractor Here in Florida 31 Years The State Can Approve the Funds to Repair and Preserve This Building,I Really Dont Know How N.Y. Handles The Historical Preservations But It Would Be Interesting to Find out , It Would be Great For Silver Creek and It Would Help Boost The ecomony,Jobs,Suppliers,Tradesman and Staffing when Complete.
I attended 3rd grade in that building in 1976. It was creepy then and it's very saddening to see it in it's current state. Not surprising, but sad not the less. Near the beginning is what I assume to be a pegboard with teacher's names on it. L. Militello is on there. He was my teacher and my favorite teacher of any school I ever attended. I was lucky enough to have him again in 7th grade for math. Thanks for the video.
@YerAmishDaddy You're most welcome. While shooting this video, I was asked by friends why I was filming certain things, like that key rack. It's to spur memories for viewers such as yourself. I'll be posting another video soon, which shows the school in use, when it was still a high school.
@animefreek67 I bet it's saddening for you to see it now the way it is. On a happier note: I was able to salvage and restore many things from there. Some of them are in the video. Many people would like to see the building brought back to it's former glory. I'm not able to do that, but at least I can to the things that were in it, and preserve a piece of local history.
too bad your friend has never paid a dime in taxes on property....what a joke !!

I am pretty sure that school is haunted.

@deedog34 That seems to be a common thought among the neighbors there, due to the noises they hear coming from the building, especially at night.
