  • That was a real vicious crash. Just looking at it, it seems like you couldn't move, I couldn't move. Coming to a dead stop is the worst thing that can happen. The engine being ripped from the car and thrown several feet, how did Sadler live through all that with the safety of that car?

That was a very hard hit.

  • i hope these drivers dont think the cars are undestructable now even after last weakends race when martin truex had a hard hit at the track said it didnt even hurt that race was April 2011 bad hit but again said it didnt hurt one bit

  • Auch.

  • Ambrose hit the wall hard in the first race here this year. Look at the big wreck with Kasey Kahne and Ambrose hits the same part straight on

  • I saw the hauler carrying that 19 car in it's hauler and oh my goodness, I just said Wow as it passed by.

  • @monstalicious Dude thats not right....lol

  • @monstalicious hahaha yeah he does

  • i love how at 2:39 theres a missing second so it looks like sadler just appears in the golf cart without sitting down!

  • this is one of the better angles of it. Still a horrible shot.

  • they should spend more money on safer barriers instead of solar panels

  • 2:12 look at that..we could have seen the crash if the dumbass didnt zoom in..thats what the real problem was every fucker zoomed in on kurt wtf is the point in that hes not the only car on the track you cant assume the wreck is over espn is retarded

  • @xmn86 yeah, in every crash 1 or 2 cameras focus on the first wreck in front, then the others focus on the pack to see if they stack up. Its weird they didnt do that here. They just got lucky to catch a little clip of it. 2 of the top 4 hardest crashes in nascar history wernt caught on film

  • at least they have a solar farm outside the track...

  • Thumbs Up is you think it's bull shit that NASCAR, the sport with the most cameras; didn't capture one angle of his crash.

  • @ClanDivinityRS not NASCAR's fault. ESPN is just terrible, worst station this series could possibly be aired on.

  • @ClanDivinityRS ' was my first thing!!!

  • @ClanDivinityRS it wasnt NASCAR. its ESPN's shitty ass coverage.

  • @ClanDivinityRS Get over it....

  • Seriously, by rights Sadler should be dead after that. NASCAR safety provisions saved his life.

  • i was there

    there were 3 rain delays

    :( everyone was like

    OOHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when they wrecked

  • i watched tis live. and i hated how they followd bush not elliot it was the weirdest thing. my famly was saing. who cars about bush!!! lets see why the engine is in the middle of the track!

  • Haha! Do you people realy think that the Matiolli's are going to spend money on that track! LMAO, they haven't parted with a dime that they didn't have to in over 30 years! That's why IRL walked away from that place long ago. You want to get away from boring and unsafe racing, then dump both Pocono races and give us back some more short track racing!

  • ive flipped a dirt car and hurt i was sore for weeks so i know he was hurting

  • So good to see Elliott being interviewed after that wreck. Thumbs up to the H.A.N.S.

That was pretty devastating. (what I saw of it)

Pocono has some work to do......

  • @JeffersonLambert its not the track, its the drivers notice how jimmie johnson drove through kurt busch which started this?

  • not only can they add safer barriers to the inside wall on the back straight, i think they can cut that peninsula out and drop the inside wall back about 50 feet and add a flush lip to it so it will keep cars out of the inside wall there.

  • with that horrible barrier design it is a MIRACLE he didn't die instantly.

  • @kerrywsmyth actually not really, these cars are so safe, and people still think even if earnhardt had a hans device he would have still died, they must not be watching these wrecks.

  • @kerrywsmyth its a miracle he didnt die period

  • its time pocono gets redone needs new asphalt and safer barriers

  • @BADASSED88 maybe even some lights!

  • Jeff Fuller's crash at Kentucky was about as bad as this.

  • Hole shit! At 1:36 if you watch the driver's side window closely you can see how far he moved inside the car! That was really bad! So glad he could walk away from that one with maybe a few bruises... Hope they can get that barrier redesigned for next year because a barrier should never be put a position to capture a car like it did with saddler. Daytona use to have a similar wall a number of years ago. Randy Lajoie and a few others had crashes like that Elliott's there as well.

  • @JRRacing64 he surely would have been killed if we did not mandate all this new technology and safety equipment

  • lol worse crash than earnhardts, and elliot is like LOL KNOCKED THE WIND OUTTA ME BUT W/E
