He's nearly 28 now and hasn't had the impact on world football that a lot of people were expecting. Just the other day at Pre-season training he clocked in at the fastest. If he keeps up his new found form under Umery, Valencia could do well with him.

yeah he still has time but players usually start to lose their pace at around 30, which is a vital attribute for wingers like Joaquin. I hope he has a good enough season for him to be in the Spanish squad for the 2010 World Cup, he's certainly good enough - he just needs to show it.
