@yeahwoo91, if you follow his instructions you'll get the results. I did it no more than 10 minutes ago. If it doesn't work try turning the dish receiver off. Hopefully your tv is not too old (as was the case for my second TV)

@gdogg395 try unplugging your dvr and wait 5 min. then see if it works, if that don't fix it, try removing your smart card and slide it back in and try again. if that don't work call dish

@gdogg395Press & release the SAT button on the top left corner of your remote, then press SELECT or CANCEL or VIEW TV button, if it didnt work, look for the the Select button on the front of the rcvr, if there's none, unplug the rcvr from the wall & replug it. It will go through the process of resetting that should bring a channel on TV1.

Thank you, when mine was set up, the guy putting it in couldn't even program the remote. I followed this guide and worked like a charm. The only thing different was I had to press the Big power button because the small one made the light turn off. After some presses on the channel up button, it cut on and works great.
