They could have gone so many ways with this.

Could have had a bump activate the Multiples earlier, like when she was Avalanche, and then go split screen with like 5 screens, 1 in each corner and 1 in the middle.

Have five "Rogues" each solo one of the other X-Men; Could even have her "Dupes" morph into a different version of herself for each opponent for added effects.

See, if Rogue was a neutral-evil villain, which she originally was, then they'd have to ret-con it fast, because it'd quickly get out of hand.

She could just go around fully absorbing all the other mutants and permanently gain their powers. Of course she'd get over-loaded eventually, but this episode was a nice display of what she could do.

In this series, Multiples is 4 dupes plus the prime. So just Multiples plus Magneto is already makes her 5 times as strong as Magneto...

At 16, 40, she is at least Storm and Jean Grey and then she teleports.

At 17,00 she throws one of Jean Grey's force fields, AND hits the real Storm with 3 lightning bolts.

Just because you don't see an "activated" ability doesn't mean Rogue isn't supposed to be using it.

Ok, at 16,30, Rogue is AT LEAST "Storm and Cyclops" simultaneously, and she remains "Storm" through the entire sequence until she lands.

At 16,40, Wolverine offers the THEORY that she has all powers at once.

At 17, 20 she already was at least Storm, in-flight, and then copied Jean Grey.

At 17,35 she is at least Storm, Jean Grey and Berzerker simultaneously.

In theory, she always has been the most powerful mutant.

Jean Grey just gets all the attention because of the Phoenix Force.

Based on the Wiki description of Multiple's abilities, she would be AT LEAST 5 times as powerful as all the other characters combined during the last scene.

Don't forget, she's also absorbed Blob and Juggernaut in earlier episodes, meaning she's supposed to be completely invincible anyway, even without the forcefields...

It's hard to show what was happening here.

Rogue had everyone's powers, but it's almost impossible to actually show that in a video.

Even the authors made mistakes and oversights in the final fight scene; as good as it was.

She's supposed to be invincible to pretty much anything. She has multiple types of invincibility and multiple types of force fields.

Even Superman would not beat her in a fight like this. He'd only screw it up and make her stronger.

Up until then, all the personalities in her head were fighting for control and she was only using one power at a time(yes the personalities were using Mystique's power to shape-shift Rogue's body as well but you get my point).If there was a forcefield,the lightning wouldn't have hit her, and it clearly did
