@rickgstone I have a bootleg from 1971 where they played it after Polk Salad Annie and Suspicious Minds so Elvis could catch his breath. Before using it for intros. Coming Home Baby is what they called it on the cd
Is there someone out there who knows what the name of the song was that was playing when Elvis introduce the band on stage. Its the same song in all of his performances. I have searched everywhere to try and find the answer. Thank You, Rick
Just Think, Ricky Nelson Fired James Burton, because James got Married and Ricky didn't think the Girl Fans would take too Kindly to that. Elvis Heard about it and sent for James and paid him Double what Ricky Nelson Paid him. James was Injured in a Car Accident a few years ago and still hasn't Recovered.
@JamelleFunk770717 Hey mr who ever you are I don't appreciate your crude comments calling me a stupid idiot Don't try to act like a tough guy because your not. I just commentated on the video.I don't know these guys from Adam. I had no prior knowledge of Mr Wilkerson being ill. I"m very sorry to hear about his illness.
I think he is one of the best Guitar players Elvis had.
@vonratibor I liked Duke filling in for Jerry through 1974 and into early 1975. But I like Jerry's style sound by far better than Duke's. Most people forget that Emory Jr took over from Jerry in June '73 after he left for Drug rehab which led to the divorce of his first Wife and during rehab he met his second and present Wife. He almost died too because of drug problem. Duke joined in January '74 until March '75
@vonratibor Elvis picked the right chemistry with John,James,Ronnie,Jerry, Charlie,Glen,Joe and his Orchestra,Kathy,Sylvia,Hastell,Sweet Insps,JD and Stamps.
@vonratibor We are lucky to still have John Wilkerson alive with us. He is crippled so bad that he cannot play Guitar anymore. He stopped playing many years ago. He was in the Hospital in early March sick. He is over 70 years old you stupid idiot and he has stopped playing Guitar because of his crippleness back in the early 1980s
if Jesus wasn't Lord,I`d like Elvis to be the Messiah.
