  • You forgot thread lock... :/

  • Loctite and ca applications are missing. These are very important steps left out. Many builders even recommend the head be taken apart to verify for loctite. This video is a bit misleading.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom I like this heli a lot! Is it a good FIRST heli to build? And You said it is complete.. But you don't mention a receiver. You need that yourself i guess?

If yes, what Spektrum receiver would you recommend?

  • @MrJasperDaniel ar6115e

  • were is the loctite

  • Why does every build of the pro leave out the installation of the motor? (EVEN FINLESS LEFT THIS PART OUT) You installed the servo cage first, then tell me how did you install the motor mount screws if you can't get to them from above with the servo cage already installed?

  • are the servo's already centered?

  • Will fly nice for 5 mins then all the screws will fall out and and the unbraided servo leads will be cut to shreds. Nice Job.

  • Great video! You could tell that you were having fun with it. ;)

  • Just like alot of viewers have said wheres the LOCKTITE, also why was there not a bearing with support for the Torque Tube drive shaft that slides on the shaft and slips inside the tube that gives support decreasing the chance for torque flexing of the shaft.

Honestly every video I have ever seen by this guy comes up short, he cuts away and comes back with stuff assembled that you wish you had seen him do just for referance and a better understanding of the build.

    I Never buy from Horizon!

  • @SlicTrix101 you are right that he needed loctite, but the bearing is not needed for short torque tubes. and to be honest if you REALLY want to see how he assembled the whole thing you're at the wrong place. this is more of an overview otherwise watch something like mrspeedy01

  • Where's your locktight?

  • what connectors does it come with for the esc to the battery?

  • hi there, I am just wondering if you have some Dx6i set up for this chopper, thanks..

  • Thanks for the video HH!! My LHS has one of these & it's calling my name!!

  • go to helifreak to see finless bobs videos of the t-rex build,,al sizes from 250 to 700 ,,every model in 10 videos step by step build op ,,can sit in front and build along with it ,,easier it cannot be done

  • i have it :)

  • nice flying

  • heli- direct is a lot cheaper on that heli like 75.00

  • loctite all metal parts don` t forget

loctite all metal parts don` t forget

loctite all metal parts don` t forget

  • Awesome vid!!!!

  • Great job with the video Jim =). My brother and I are great Align fans, and glad that Horizon is carrying them.

  • 35a esc can do 3d?

  • We actually have for quite some time now.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom The 450 Pro Combo is what we used here but the 450 Pro itself might appeal to people who have all the servo, gyro, speed control stuff. Click the "more info" link and see them on our site.

  • I want to see a T-REX 250 video please!

  • I'm not sure I can go back to a belt driven tail rotor as on the 250. This one is just so nice.

  • gnarly work, Jim! Excellent flying...

  • LOVED this video. Would it be possible to make one on the 250 size Trex? Thanks.

  • @Vik13vik I'll try in the near future. How about a scale body installation on the 450? I'm liking the Align Hughes 500 body?

  • thanks for the video

  • not the best build video missing loads of vital bits like thread lock and stuff. connect the links on the swash then he tried to put main gear in . i noticed he undid the swash balls so he could lift the main shaft up to get the main gear in . hope he thread locked them after wards

  • great video,real through.

  • You forgot to add that using blue thread locker on all screws is cardinal rule #1!!!!

  • @RoboTekno That is a good point. We are limited in these videos to 10 minutes and I felt that anyone building a heli of this skill level probably knows he should take assemblies apart and add thread locker (inclluded in the kit) to all the metal to metal fasteners. Just wasn't time. You are right for sure.

  • haha, it's cool. Just thought I'd mention it to the newbies :) nobody likes exploding helicopters in midair :D

  • Nice Helli . Would you expect anything less from Align. Still very pricey.

  • @jauchiu It seems expensive but just subtracting the price of the Gyro makes it look pretty good, The premium speed control and digital (metal cased!) servos are not inexpensive themselves! So it really is not as bad as you might think at first glance.

  • Yes you are correct. I guess i never really added up the cost on my Trex 600. Still don't want to know. Nice video.
