Do you know that this series was actually made as a follow up to the invisible man (david mccallum)? the twist is that instead of david pulling off his face etc to become invisible, the watch when pressed in TGM allowed the same thing to happen
This criminal reminds me of Walter Bishop from Fringe. He also played a villain bent on world domination called Mr Haveitol in Wonder Woman , I kid you not !
I had a huge crush on Leonard Driscoll (William Sylvester) when i was a young boy... looking at this again after all these years... i can still see why... he just oozes testosterone... ooh!
I remember this show EXISTING, and I remember the end of the pilot when Ben Murphy throws the watch into the ocean, and while kissing his love interest, pulls it back out of the water on a string. But I actually WATCHED the David McCallum INVISIBLE MAN series.
@argumenteren According to Stephen King it was because some mad, religious nutters got David Macullum's 'Invisible man' canned as they said it was obscene him walking around naked (though invisible!) all the time. They then had to write a hero who's clothes were invisible too so he didn't have to strip-off!
@argumenteren Ah, now youv'e got me there. I haven't seen every South Park-was there one where both he and his clothes turned invisible or did he become a religious nutter? If either, did Kenny get killed at the end of this one?
@ajivins1 That wasn't the point King was making. He was pointing out the decisions made in both tv and movies that make people scratch their heads i.e. The A-team no one died in gun shoot outs and from explosions.
Wow, Intersect is totally in need of some Government cutbacks. I mean, 40m over budget on a robot that makes a Dalek look streamlined, and on top of the money they wasted on Tripolodene - to say NOTHING of the Robert Denby affair. These folks are kinda hopeless...
@IvanStrelnikov I was born in 1969 and had just started the 1st grade in the fall of 1976 when this really great show with that really cool Sam Casey came on. After getting to the pilot and two episodes or so, everyone else in the house wanted to watch some show about which they had heard called "Welcome Back Kotter," and I was "outvoted." I did pitch a temper tantrum, and I did cry when the show got cancelled and did not come back as a re-run in the Summer of 1977. :(
thanks for posting it. that has brought so many of my childhood memories as it used to be one of my fav tv film series alpng with 6m$man. a true birthday gift.

I saw Gemini man in 1976 on the Dutch television and I always wondered why his clothes turned to be invisible as well...

@DrRich63 I think it was in his book 'Danse Macarbre' which was basically a listing of all the things he liked watching and reading.

I was born in 81, but if I was 20 years younger, i definitely would have watched this show religiously and bawled my eyes out when it got canned.
