I've got the crappy M25 version, with authentic right-hand-drive Ford Mondeo! It's nowhere near as smooth and fast as the PA Turnpike version. Most of the time there's too many people playing at once and there's just gridlock.

I got the US beta too! I stole a Ferrari and ripped through the turnpike at top speed with the cops chasing me! That was a blast.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot: the version I got (Release Candidate 2) used real peoples' names, so when I saw Mark, I cut him off and sent him to a watery grave in the River level.

Have you seriously created a video game based on driving the Pennsylvania Turnpike? If so, maybe you can make it more exciting by making it a Facebook game. Make the game so that the player can have neighbors and play with other people. Have it so that the player can earn extra points by fertilizing the farms along the way or stop at the service plazas and spice the food.

You enter the and instead of going all black you get teleported into space, fly to the next teleporte and avoid the aliens wich shoot at you with their huge famethrowers!

At the Lord Karnage rules the space and he will thank you with a LORD KARNAGE SANDWISH!

If you press up, down, left, right, star, circle, pause and select then down and star, You spawn the lord karnage monster truck

There's also a tricky glitch, once you're in the lord karnage monster truck, if you hit the self exsplode button just before the 2nd tunnel. You can rocket through the tunnel very quickly and land in your regular car again. (only works for the 2nd tunnel) however performing this incorrectly will cause your atareks to melt into a pspgo :(

I was a bit disappointed in the lack of texture detail in the tunnels, its just the same texture repeating over and over. Also, the trees are obviously flat images laid on top of each other. The hills at 0:05 are obviously a flat 2D image. I also spotted some pop-up.

I actually just got into the Scandinavian beta version of this. The stages aren't as good though, like Oslo - Trondheim, which is pretty lame. The graphics are just as good though, and if you wait until the winter you get to prep your car by scraping ice off the windows before being allowed to drive.

I agree that this is a great game, but i recommend you not play this game with a vectrex controller. When I tried not only did the controller not work, but I also ruined my console, caused $30,000 in property damage and claimed three lives.
