This is September 1976. None of this appears on the LP. Wow. And actually this was the best of the bands--at least from a sax perspective. Central Park North and Mornin' Reverend played at this concert are considered the definitive takes by the band.
Nice--even if the band was not quite at its best. Thad starts his solo tentatively but progressively gets into a great groove with beautiful moments. Sometimes he even sounds like Don Cherry would if he played flugel!
