That road surface is probably a bit dangerous for a bike too with all that dust which is probably why he wasn't going any faster. Are these scripted? I know a lot of cops and they all say they would never chase a moto. Even on bikes they dont want to risk their lives. They could easily just block the road in front of him by giving a radio and have him stopped and get their plates and avoid a chase.

Even if this is for fun I don't know why cops would risk their jobs screwing around like this to have fun.

Your speedometer is WAY off if it's indicating 200mph. Grab a gps, my garmin automatically records top speed. When I hit 164 and backed off, not even hitting the top speed of around 172, (stock bike, stock exhaust), my speedometer was reading 179. The official top speed of a motogp bike is 216 by Pedrosa. And that's a $3 million dollar bike.

Any officer that pursues a bike that obviously isn't going to immediately pull over needs to end pursuit. I personally don't ride any more but I can't remember ever pulling over when a cop lit me up. It's too easy to get away from them when your so much faster and more nimble.

I think that we should revise traffic laws and allow cars/bikes that are able to handle higher speeds better go faster, while restricting a beat up 90's civic from going 90 on a highway.for example, a new car can go up to 80-90 (conditions permit) and be required to take qualifying tests every year if they want to continue to do so. Brings in more money through the DMV, allows cars to run on open free/highways, and reduce the amount of ricer civics trying to renact Fast and furious.

@pdavid24 Obviously what i mean by conditions permit is freeway is open, no weather conditions, car is maintained. So cars that can actually do 90 mph safely can be allowed to do so. Through a sticker or something. In my area a lot of cars with blown tires are old civics that went to fast for their tires to handle. Also, by ricer i of course mean civics that have no real performance enhancing upgrades, but instead of wings, lowered to 2 in of the ground and have stupid CF hoods.
