@MacsCanfly I found the problem, the engine oil that I used was way to fine (5-30) Now that i use 10-30 or 10-40 it only smokes a bit when cold then stops and doesnt use any while running AND the noise that sounds like a bad connection rod is from a engine mounting that is broken and the engine shakes about. Easy fix with a bit fiblre glass :D
@MacsCanfly A farmer gave me it, It was seized at the time, the magnet at the flywheel rusted and seized against the coil, a bit of WD40 and sand paper did the job! :D

Cool mower! it has a really low idle to it. it smokes but it runns good though!
