  • worst ever, ever

  • so fake but i can be done

  • A CPU is not designed to COMBUST and explode. This CPU was rigged and powered to Explode. I love YOUTUBE and it's many fakes.

I OC'd my 3200+ to the MAX and it just shuts down. The cpu fried eventually but that was all.

  • Neodimium magnets?

  • crazy!!....the backgroundmusic is from sonic 3 endboss

  • actually a cpu can explode, it just needs to be MASSIVLY overclocked.

  • It can't explode.

  • it just shuts down for ever... EXPLODE LOL...WTF

  • lolno

  • ur vids are shit you speak way to close to the ic i think its stuck in your neck lol

  • your a dork with your video game music backing tracks

  • lol he pulled it with a small rope under the fan heatsink

  • music is from the final boss in sonic 3 btw

  • Nerd

  • Its realy awesome xD, it jumps away xD

  • joke hahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lock is lol

  • lol damn the ending of this shit is rad

  • these chips fry but dont pop like that

  • he pulled it out lol

  • Wow looks like "Cobra 11" in German Television. There´s a Mountainbike at that Trafficlight. It´s falling down and the whole Block is bombed down. lol The end of the world. baboooom! The Music is fuckkin* up...

  • Comment removed

  • what happened

  • just after he removed the heatsink the cpu sprung off

  • fucking hell ur loud fuck sake

  • Musica do jogo Sonic T.H 3 na fase Launchbase!

  • HEY!!! i've got that heat sink and fan, love the heat sink hate the fan I have it left over from an old celeron at 433 Mhz!!!!!

  • buy a camera...

  • The old "spring snake in a can" trick. lol this is the best explosion i have seen all year.

  • LOL

  • dude take a couple steps back from the microphone jesus

  • "no idea where the CPU's gone"

    spat drink everywhere, haha.

  • holy ***! That was awesome!

  • It's the emergency eject :D

If u did not get that I meant like a fighter jet pilot ejecting from a plane.

  • The Music is Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Showdown for launchbase zone

  • lol these guys overclocked a dualk core @2.00 to 5.47

with -180c because they used liquid nitrogen lol

  • lol it flew off! thats so lol

& whats up with the music lol? Zelda?

  • who makes that music?

  • It's in Sonic and Knuckles in Death Egg Zone Act 3 Boss

  • lol the thing wasnt even plugged it

  • It wasn't even turned on. XD

  • And thas why AMD failz lol

  • DURON!

  • wtf

    thats not a sempron

  • it happened to an amd CPU one...some one took off the heatsink and boom it just blows a hole through the motherboard and his table lol

  • drill a hole in your ass and then concentrate and then take a friend to kick your ass hard and your had will popup(wtf you drilla hole in that motherboard?)

  • Whats music name? xD

    // fake... ^^

  • Sounds like a boss fight from one of the sonic games, I believe.

  • Maybe If you Could overclock a 1.8Ghz to 3Ghz this would be plausible But since you cant this Vid is about as worthless as it seems 1.8Ghz Have a thermal shutdown at 2.5Ghz and the Chip Fries Like a egg on a skillet not to mention the Pins would melt at 2.33Ghz Try again scooter

  • people have overclocked a 3.0 to 6.5....why dont you think you can clock a 1.8 to 3.0?

  • I've seen 6 GHz on current lithography techniques and that was with dry ice. It's not about how fast the die itself can go, it's about the cooling.

  • overclocking IS about how fast the die will go. longevity is all about cooling. btw why did you reply to my comment?

  • I just happened to see your comment.

Overclocking is about increasing the number of cycles per second while keeping the heat manageable.

Heat is the problem. Without heat, silicon is capable of speeds MUCH greater than what we see today. You'll see that in the future with the new lithography techniques being developed which allows for silicon to run at acceptable temperatures well over 10 GHz.

  • Pff, heat, all that does is start fire, how is that a problem? - Seriously, you can actually solve this problem already.

The biggest limitation is what speed the RAM and cache chips are capable or running at, and keeping things in sync.

The BUS is another thing that needs to be capable of handling the speed.

Despite this daft video, im actually very experienced with overclocking.

  • I really hope you're kidding.

If you're not; heat is what melts the little transistors and 'wires' that connects it all together which is what makes the chip stop working.

Of course we can only make transistors so small on silicon before they become unreliable which is why there is research on silicon alternatives like processors based on quantum probability.

  • nah, it is quite possible to cool the technology we already have.

I was kidding in the first part though.

What the rest of my comment meant was that the limitation of speed is not heat, it is the things listed in my other comment, but of course it will fail if it gets too hot.

When the CPUs were ceramic, they could tolerate over 100°C easily, but now they are made of other materials (i beleive it is resin) - of course the parts inside that may not tolerate that much heat though.

  • We're talking about transistors on silicon and their limitation in speed. You can overclock a CPU quite easily beyond what the silicon can handle. In the end, it's the heat that kills it.

The wrapping doesn't make the silicon withstand more heat. And yes, they could handle 100° C easily not because they were wrapped in ceramic but because the components were 60 times bigger (that is to say sturdier).

  • yes, but you can cool it, it just isn't easy or cheap (or feasible for that matter)

I had a RISC processor that was manafactured to 65nm, and it got to 100° C and did not die, i didn't run it at such high speed again though for fear of wrecking something else with the heat.

But, yes, the package (or wrapping) can make a difference to the tolerance of a cpu.

Some people leave the thermal throttling on and this causes big slow down when you're overclocking.

You rate a good point though.

  • I can't see how ceramic would help the temperature management in a CPU. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but ceramic is a very poor conductor of heat which means that rather than pulling than pulling the heat from the die, it traps it?

  • I don't know about that... does it not conduct it better than resin or plastic?

Maybe if it does conduct worse, it could be that it prevents the spread of heat to other components that can't handle so much heat in the CPU?

I'm not sure, i'm just going by my experiences.

What always intrigues me is how, the CPU is made by a machine, but one may not be as good as a seemingly identical one.

  • Not sure what you mean by good, but there's a lot of things that can affect the outcome of the product from a poorly maintained cleanroom to sub-par chemicals, components and equipment.

Well, the die itself is still silicon like you find inside any other processor. What you're talking about is what is encasing the die.

  • Which RISC proc were you running? PowerPC?

  • It was a few years ago, it was either PowerPC or one of the Hitachi SH type chips.

If i remember rightly it was a powerpc chip, because i think SH is not as fast.

  • pisstake o_O

  • Oh god the corn. The sonic music helped.

  • Sonic?

  • Yes, Sonic 3 Final Boss - one of my terrible early remixes.

  • SPRING MAYBE

  • FAKE

    - Hey, people, tried reading the description before watching the video?

  • FAKE looks like it being pulled off maybe by string?

  • Fake.

  • fucking stupid ass people how about reading the description, it says its FAKE DUMB FUCKS, WTF IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!!!!!

  • that was the fakest overclock ever the board didn't even jump at that over clock this is a total rip the heat sink would of been 2 hot 2 grab and the chip would of blown a hole through the table

  • read the description? perhaps?

  • LOL THE EARTH IS BURNING!!! FAKKEE!!! LOOOL!!!

    nah just kidding :p

  • BTW, nice remix music

  • It isn't fake, AMD CPU's always blow up. Watch Tom's Hardware Guide-CPU Cooling. Athlon's always catch fire or start smoking,

  • thats bull you pulled it with fishing wire

  • Actually it was bicycle cable.

    Quote myself:

"Here the effect is caused by thin wire and my hand, as this video was really a p***take of another that was on the net."

  • what causes the cpu to do that? can heat give that much force to blow off a cpu? i am pc illiterate knowing only of the outside things. please explain if u know what i am trying to ask

  • if the CPU actually did this for real, it would be either caused by the heat causing components under the CPU to explode (as the cpu just melts a hole through itself, or just smokes and smells) or the metal on the pins expanding at such a rate that it caused it to fly out. Here the effect is caused by thin wire and my hand, as this video was really a p***take of another that was on the net.

  • LOL i loved ur p2 video.

  • Are you plaing sonic 3 and knuckles in the background? on a sega or emulator? LOL

  • Nah, that's just a crappy re-mix i did a long time ago.

  • this is blatantly just a joke on the other video he mentions at the beginning.

  • Magnet, I think.

  • thats why you need to keep your heat sink on at all times

  • NICE. a flying cpu.

  • Ploup :D

  • By the looks of it he didn't secure the CPU properly and it just popped out of place when he removed the heatsink. That simple.

  • the same comment i said to the "other guy on you tube" why?

  • fake

  • noob

  • yea the other 1 looks real but this dosnt it looks like the cpu had string round it coz there was no bang

  • which country will go flying if you overclock the world? :P

  • FAIL

  • oh WHY oh WHY oh WHY... just dont do it

  • Why say that? It seems to be fake. The CPU didn't fall into parts.

  • hahahahahaha, gayest music ever XD but so hilarious, when you moved the heatsink and fan the cpu just pooped out (WIEEEEEEE!!! IM FREE!!!!! TARZAN STYLE!!!!)

  • lol

  • gayest music ever

  • LMAO.... funny woice...

  • AHHHHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHHHAH!OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!

    AHAHAHAHHA!!!

    I Love the music!!BAHHHHHHHH!!!!

  • ahahahahaah

  • Dude u sound so nooby

  • fake

  • Its fake

  • mthrfucking FAKE :D LOL, i saw CPU with FAN :D damn LOL

  • LOL! I know what video this refers to, and I gotta say this made me laugh a bit. Good job on this one!

(Seriously, if you take this video seriously, you have absolutely no sense of humor at all. OF COURSE THIS VIDEO IS SUPPOSED TO BE FAKE! It's blatantly obvious :P)

  • Win for Sonic music, somewhat of a fail for fake. xD

  • I might just post this

    FAKE

    ...lol

  • no the thermal paste makes it stick to the heatsink and the proc comes flying off.

  • hahahhaha wtf superman processor

  • hahahahahha u are so stupid

  • I did the experiment myself and blown up a few high-end graphics processors last year (no I didn't waste money for the fun of it; it was in an electronics failure analysis and reliability testing lab). ICs does burn when overheated (mine had the bare die exposed, no heatsink), but don't really explode.

  • FAKE. Although is crappy image quality, can easily tell there is no smoke. Plus a processor wouldn't pop-up and come in a whole vertically like that.

  • test

  • This is prolly to show how people fake cips, notice there is no bang and you can pretty much see the string

  • what do you expect me to say?? I can't say it's not a fake!

  • I didn't say that you shouldn't say it's fake, i just said I wouldn't respond to anybody else who implied this in a manner that appeared to attempt to contradict me. By all means say it is, I just won't post back because that's been covered before. That was all :-) - actually, i might change the description again as it isn't very specific really is it? Hmm...

    _HT!

  • What is the CPU model used in this video ? An AMD Athlon XP ?

  • Athlon XP - i've long forgotten the specs.

  • faker than house-hold-fucker's videos

  • :\ no thermal protection*sigh*

  • i feel sorry for the guy who mad this vid he has poo english and sounds like he has no friends

and no it would not expload at all it would just get really hot then burn out

i did it with a old g card i had

  • BadBoy201995 is one year younger than I am, and this is the FAKEST video of all times, I'd give it a -1000000/5.

when the CPU shoots off, at least it'll make a big BANG! sound.

I had overclock an E4300 to 4.63GHz, and just removed LN2, a few seconds, the socket just started to bubble, then black smoke, then BANG! socket came off the motherboard and a big HOLE.

  • I don't see why the cpu would fly out of the socket without the socket lever being moved.

  • idon't think it actually explodes, i think the processor shoots off of the connectors (or whatever they're called) due to the heat generated!

  • dude, that sucked balls. I give it a rating of -5 out of 5

  • its fake , i saw you just removed it with your hand ... and whats your problem with my birth date ? FULL FAKE 1/5

  • Cause it makes you 13 at oldest, thus I reckon I know more than you, seeing as I am a qualified IT Practitioner, it is fake, as has been covered many times before

  • faker than a fake thing from planet fake.

  • wtf???

  • FF44KK33

  • Like that hasn't been said before, by many including me, the author of this video.

  • Woah, 32 and you haven't learnt english yet, f44k33.

U R 32? no, tho i thnk u iz pwned cz 201995 references ur date of birth, 1995 some point...

  • CSS = counter strike source

  • CSS = Cascading Style Sheets

  • lol at @ elegadom2 .. fucking css fanboys

  • I've never heard of the CSS from Valve. I have no idea who they are or what they do? nor am i able to find anything about them. The only CSS I know is style sheets.

  • GRAWW HAWW! My name is HighTreason610 I eatz micr0phonez and procez0r MMM-DEAR! I gotz street fIHterz in the backround

  • street wot?

  • 2ken caln? i never heard of them, why, CSS? what CSS?

  • Think he's talking about Counter-Strike Source from Valve.

  • depp

  • fake. gtfo of the internet fag

  • you lose some and you get some, thats how you learn in life...

  • nice music

  • this is horse shit. It dosnt explode like that. its all horse shit.. Ur fucking Apple.

  • I'm not apple, watch other stuff of mine you'll see.

  • you are so an apple :P

  • Mentira!!!

  • Is that the sonic 3 boss music i hear ? I know it anywhere !

Also ... MOVE AWAY FROM THE MIC !

  • Yes it is. And i learned that i was too close to the mic.

  • mooi hoor.maar waarom op you tube??????!!

  • hehe i think it's broken... XD

  • Yep, just a bit :D

  • Thats a Athlon or Duron not a sempron

  • Yep, I noticed that about a day later "Err, where's that athlon I was gonna put in my mam's PC?" ... "Oh, no, I killed the wrong CPU!!!!"

    :D

  • LOL

  • lol!

  • Nice Background Music, Final Battle for Sonic 3 or Sonic 3K.

  • LMAO at the string like :) Nice one

  • This video is a fraud. You just pulled the Central Processing Unit out with a piece of string. Nothing happens here, pal.

  • OMG!!! SONIC U KILLED THE SEMPRON!!! lol, nice vid!

  • Lol, Its on a string! god.. you can even see it if you look carefully enough.. He is taking the piss out of one where it actually bursts out of its socket. but as hightreasun said it lever is alos loose so he can pull it out..

Its a shame about the fps of the video otherwise you could see the string better..

    Cya

  • Oh, ya, like I sed, it's just 4 fun :-)

  • LOL

  • Haha, Sonic the Hedgehog music in the background.

  • innit! Sempron SUX! Buy a Core 2 Duo/Quad Extreme instead!

  • no need to buy tat fast. P3 computer still can writing Vista software.

  • thats true, but then it's crappy at gaming. Try to run Crysis on very high with that cpu x'D

  • dont worry people he has like more semprons in his room spare that what AMD has left in there factory.

  • Oh, yes, it is a sort-of-fake, there were some capacitors under the CPU and the lever was loose, it was meant as an amusing (but it isn't vastly amujsing) vid, the sempron I killed? what's the issue, it was damaged anyway and cost very little about three years ago.

    _HT!

  • funny but fake

  • you killed a sempron only for this???
